Thank you so so much for this video! I was literally about to package deal all my G1 ponies and sell for £10 on Vinted! Thank goodness I watched you video as I have all my childhood ones plus accessories! 🎉
I love selling ponies! G1 are from my childhood but so difficult to find these days. I stumbled across a few in a charity shop for the first time recently, all with condition issues, but paid £2 for each and have sold all for at least £15 each. The Mountain Boy ponies were a UK exclusive which is why they are so rare! I also sell G3 which are easier to find, pick them up cheap and bundle them.
I sold them in the past and collect them, mainly gen 3 and 4, unfortunately most of them are near worthless but they are cheaper to buy. Gen 1 and even 2 are what you want, some MLP build a bear and plushs are worth decent money to
I sell lots of ponies. Honestly g1s are tough because they are usually rotten and damaged. I stopped sourcing them unless I could see them in person because so many are bad. This is WHY they are expensive.
My sister had some when she was younger now she in her 50s I did know how much they are worth my sister got rid of them all in the bin she had over hundreds of them
Hi :) I have all of the MLP you showed in this video, but that's because I have a HUGE collection of MLP (all G1) which I've been collecting for decades. I no longer have room for them so I want to sell most of them. From what you said in this video, it sounds like you always sell them via "buy it now" and never via bidding? I thought it was better to sell via bidding in case there is a bidding war which pushes the sale price higher than expected? Sorry if this is a clueless question, as I'm new to selling. All best wishes from Brighton ^_^
Loved our 70s/80s toysxx my favs were carebears, my lil ponies and sindys xx

Careful Nic, there's a fine line between researching vintage toys and "Brony" 😃
