Thanks so much for developing this plugin! I'm trying to download and run the plugin for AMOS29, but it's coming back with a syntax error. I've followed the instructions for resolving the error in the Google Drive, but to no avail. Is there anything else I can try?
The plugins unfortunately do not work for version 29. IBM keeps changing AMOS's backend with every version to make my plugins not work... So, now that SmartPLS has CB-SEM features, I've dropped AMOS and have stopped updating the plugins. They can be found here for anyone who wants to edit them: ruclips.net/video/PCcTX_mpXM0/видео.htmlsi=ktD_ACT5xwK3kIL7
I have installed the cfa auto modeller Plugin in AMOS 24. the plugin can be read in my amos software after following all instruction, unblock and etc. However when i ran CFA auto modeller, it is not working like CFA diagram, it make a overlapping and small circle in the left top screen. It happens also for pattern matrix builder plugin. I hope someone can help me to fix this problem, i really hope.
I'm not sure what would cause that. Sorry about that. I guess you'll need to build it the old fashioned way... ruclips.net/video/JkZGWUUjdLg/видео.html
Hi Soeharto, Thanks for bringing this up. I installed AMOS version 26. And it worked. Yesterday, very suddenly I encountered the same problem you have. I then even deleted my complete computer as I thought it might be a virus. Installed everything from scratch. I still have the same problem. CFA auto model producing only a small circles at the top left of the program output. If you by chance find a solution for it, it would be great if you could share it here. Thank you very much!!
@@soehartosoeharto8471: Hey Soeharto, I found a turn around on my computer which I wanted to share with you. First, I completely reset my computer (I am not sure if that helped the overall process). Same result: plugin not running. Second, I also tried to uninstall AMOS Vers. 26 and installed AMOS Vers. 27: same result plugin not running. Third attempt, I realized that in the folder: c:\user\user name\AppData\Local\AmosDevelopment\Amos\26\Plugins there were two plugins focusing on the same result: --> there is the file: Amos26-CFAAutoModeler, and; --> PatternMatrixBuilderAMOSv26 Both intend to setup your model. I deleted the file"PatternMatrixBuilderAMOSv26" and rebooted my computer. Now, I was able to use the plugin "Amos26-CFAAutoModeler" to build models from the connected data file. Please make sure that you *unblock* the plugins. Hope that helps! Have a great day.
So many things. Design a good study with good measures. If using factor analysis to validate your measures, ensure they are reflective, rather than designed as an index or composite score. Collect good data from engaged participants. Collect enough data to achieve statistical power. Ensure univariate normality and attend to other issues that affect statistical assumptions, such as outliers and missing data. If all of this is attended to, then usually the factor analysis will turn out right.
Thanks for creating this plugin. When I am trying to run this in amos 26, I get the message 'Error running plugin. When you specify a(n) excel 2007 data file, you must also give the name of a data table within the file'. Please help
This seems to be an AMOS error rather than a plugin error. However, if the dataset works fine without the plugin, then if you have access to SPSS, convert the file to an SPSS file.
I do not have Windows 11 yet. Once I get it (probably not until next laptop... so, like 2024) I'll start making the plugins compatible with Windows 11. Sorry that doesn't help much.
Lovely, why did I miss this earlier. This made my life easire..... Thank you so much James
Thanks for the information. It makes life easier.
This is amazing! I’ll have to see if this works for my AMOS 22. Thanks!
Sir you are great.
great plug-in
Respected Professor,
Thank you for developing this new plugin. Can you please guide how to install this plugin?
I am sure you can also develop one for Causal Model, where users select the IVs, DV, Med: and Mod:
Sir is it work with 24 version?
Is it really? Thank you Dr. Gaskin.

It will not work on version 18. It probably won't work on any version earlier than 24. Sorry about that.
Sir I tried it on Amos 27 but it brings up an error stating it contains syntax errors.

Great job! but this plugin only works on AMOS26.0, no 24.0 version
Yes, that is correct. I no longer have version 24 to test it.

How to download
All of the plugins are on the StatWiki.
