Question regarding GMP: Has a Lucky Loser ever made it to the final? GMP has nothing to lose. If he elevates his game and plays "lights-out," it will make for an interesting semi-final between him and Djokovic. Djokovic is the GOAT's GOAT, but I'd be nervous about that matchup.

Ok if you want my opinion here it is: Raducanu has no requirement to play with Sir Ancy in the mixed. Andy go home. You've had your day, you've had your ceremony, don't be greedy. Your family has supported you and your ambitions. Raducanu has her career ahead of her, yours is over. Go home and enjoy your life and family.

He wasn't playing to win, otherwise he wouldn't have withdrawn from singles. He clearly loves the game and wanted to play his home slam in the best possible way he could. Where's the greed?

No 🤔. Playing with Radicanu in the doubles would've attracted sponsors (being Andy's last Wimbledon game with an up & coming lady Brit). His last chance of earning easy money on many fronts (using Radicanu's - starry-eyed persona 😏) just my opinion .

@@patthompson8591 Raducanu kind of lost her credibility as a player and her personal brand suffered. Which to be fair is not her fault- it was an unexpected run in the US Open leading to premature success and injuries (though the constant change of coaches at a rapid pace didn't help her cause). I don't think that would've helped attract sponsors or money- but on saying that I'm not British and different markets work different ways. IMO even if it was to do with money,someone like Andy with his achievements, experience and popularity wouldn't require Raducanu to earn easy money through sponsorships
