It’s not going to happen because it’s a stupid idea. Batteries are the most expensive part of the vehicle. You’re adding a lot of cost to the vehicle. You’re also adding weight, which reduces efficiency. All to get some extra range that nobody actually uses. 300 miles is more than enough for virtually everyone.
The math aint mathing…right now the RWD LR uses a 75kWH battery that yields 320 miles, 75->95 is a 26% increase, so 320x1.26=~400 miles best case scenario.
The theory is that Juniper will be more efficient, using less power than the previous one. so instead of using 120kHW+ to achieve 500 miles, it'll use 95 to reach it. all speculations but increased mileage will happen if efficiency part is true.

If they go with full tail light bar and full front grill bar like the cyber truck with the added ambient light strip inside and the back passengers screen I’m going to kick myself for not waiting and going for the model 3 highland a few weeks ago. I love it so far, but I would have preferred a little more room inside and sitting up a little higher now that I’ve been driving it for a while. Either way I still love it and have tons of fun driving it

500 miles with 95 kwh is not going to happen with model Y. Their light vehicle model 3 is also in low 4s i think. Lucid is the only production car with 5 miles per kwh.

The reason their not selling as much cars now is because the market for the lucid air is very small it's a luxury niche market. Its not the same market as when the model s first comes out to consumers. The Lucid Gravity which is their SUV will be a bigger market then their next vehicle which will be a Model Y then model 3 competition will even have a bigger market. Lucid its about 5-yrs ahead if Tesla in terms of powertrain and battery but still behind Tesla in terms of software. Apple should have just bought Lucid and it would have been perfect.
