Worth every single penny. Dont know what it does to make the trigger so much better, but the trigger has the feel of a 1911 short and crisp pull. The best trigger I've ever felt is on a bull pup...crazy
Great video! I just got mine in the mail today! With this video it took about 15 mins to install and this was my first time taking the Aug trigger apart. Huge improvement.
I just installed the TSM in my AUG. Thanks for the video! The job would have taken much longer without the visual reference. The trigger is still a bit heavy, but there's much less travel and it's super crisp.
Thanks for making this video. Everything was clear enough to understand and 100X more useful than the written instructions. Way too many drama queens bemoaning that y'all aren't full up video production studio. But everything was visible and explained where it needed to be.
If thats really the case its a bit pricey but get yourself a triggertech diamond either in the procurved or straight but the diamond is whats important. Takes longer taking the grip off then it does to put the drop in trigger into the gun locked into place. I never thought about changing my triggers til a couple months ago and once i got of the triggertechs for 1 of my ar15s i now have them in everything.they are different for the ar10 and ar15 just so u know but they also have them for remington 700 and ar9 as well. 1.5lb pull adjustable up to 4lbs by the twist of a knob that clicks as u twost so u can keep track. But if u think an aug trigger is better should get u a triggertech diamond adjustable drop in trigger u will come back and thank me if u do. $225 ar15 $325 ar 10 trigger tech. U will never think that thought again.
Probably ought to update this video with the whole "yeah now you have to dremel the trigger pack on your $1800 rifle if you want this to work" thing that you slipped in on a photocopy in the package and didn't disclose anywhere on your website. The piece of paper cardstock I'm supposed to use to check my dremel work was a nice touch too. It works, but that's really not great.
I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. However, I noticed that Chris said to make sure to specify whether it was an msar or steyr in this video. I have the Steyr but I don't believe the order form asked for which gun? Just want to make sure I get the correct one. Just like Mark, I to have contemplated selling it because of the trigger. Looking forward to seeing how much of a difference this 20/20 sear make.
I just call the company about an hour ago, and talked them about it. He said that the coating on the metal was designed to be slippery to mitigate friction and reduce wear. Still concerned, I asked what the finish was made of and he wasn't sure, but he did tell me that they have tested this product for a while, about 2 years, with a lot of test shots, and he said that there wasn't any wear noticeable, which I found really helpful.
Is this something that exists out in the world so ewhere and i just need to keep searching? Cause i swear i read something about some sear mod that made it somehow adaptable to run any ar15 drop in trigger u wanted. Any idea on a name of it id go onto ebay and try to find one if its a thing
Two questions... 1. How do the polymer parts wear now that they're interacting with polymer? 2. The trigger pack needs to be oiled now for proper function?

ldkisuvghlyi, semi auto. The full auto trigger arrangement requires a full length pull. Half pull is semi auto, and for full auto, the extra trigger pull allows full auto fire.
Not sure how late I am here, but Corvus Defensio will be offering a whole trigger rework in the near future which will be available for the European and possibly American market.
Ok. Well I was gonna say trigger tamer is definitely a lot cheaper and it's been working for me. Would've been nice if it worked and somehow made a tad bit more of a better trigger. Still getting sub moa with trigger tamer, accessory rail with bipod/foldable handgrip and match ammo. Thanks for getting back to me in a timely manner!
I went ahead and purchased this 2020 sear and installed along with my earlier mod the trigger tamer. Just received and installed yesterday. *They forgot to send my 2 sharpening stones tho....But I see no reason the 2 shouldn't be okay together. The 2020 sear only "shortens the pull and quickens the reset of the trigger". So we are not lightining the trigger twice like some might think. I have read recently that the 2 together are awesome. I haven't shot my rifle yet (at all). But trigger is much nicer - even more with the new sear.
Lolno, what the hell kind of question is that? No, the AUG doesn't have any binaries available for it, much less accept AR trigger packs. That said, I love both my Echo II and my AUG!
FuzedBox well I heard there is a 2020 precision aug trigger pack that uses ar15 components figured you could at least swap to the Franklin armory binary pack with that and the trigger pull of the aug will prevent it from outrunning the hammer since its such a long action
it would have been nice if in the description you could list the trigger pull weight before and after so some of us do not have to actually watch the vid. Other than that, good thorough vid and very educational. good job
I am contemplating buying this sear, I have to say this video is HORRIBLE! BUY A DAMN LIGHT! If it were not so simple I would have not even purchased the new sear. Look at the video before you post it!
It literally tells you EXACTLY where the sear is supposed to go. It shows you EXACTLY how the parts are orientated both INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the trigger housing. He uses a flashlight every time you need to see detail on what it looks like. Get some glasses.
came here just for the orientation of the drop safety - thank you for displaying this outside the trigger housing!

Worxed out exactly like this video. Thnx. Can't wait till the range.
does it reduce trigger weight

So much better. Holy moly the difference is amazing.
Excellent tutorial, thank you. The ratworx 2020 sear made my aug trigger better than my ar triggers!

Took a little bit but finally got it installed thanks to this video. Thanks for posting!
I just installed mine - thanks for this video - wasnt as bad as I thought - but this video (for me) was essential!

Please re-do this video with adequate lighting

Video is pretty bad. Lighting should show exactly what's going on at all times. Mine is installed and doesn't work
That sear is metal so wouldn't it eventually wear the plastic hammer?
Exactly what I'm thinking? I'm not sure because it's metal on plastic, and I think the finish is speacial in any way

@@Awesomebongle thank you for the follow up! I’m in the same boat, a better trigger would be nice, but i don’t want unnecessary wear.
Send me an address to mail the new bench light…
Whatever happened to the 2020 Precision Trigger Pack that used an AR15 trigger? How come you guys don't make those anymore?
Heard it was a limited production run. Guess it didn’t catch on.
Ar15 trigger in an aug? Id pay $400 for the ability to put a triggertech diamond into my aug that would change the world in this thing.

Would the "Red Spring upgrade" I see advertised be helpful with this sear?
Good sear, lousy video. Too dark and installer hands blocking camera view. Took me longer to put stuff back together than it should.
What's the difference between the milspec sear and the ratworx sear?
Two questions...
1. How do the polymer parts wear now that they're interacting with polymer?
2. The trigger pack needs to be oiled now for proper function?
5 Years later and this is the question I want answered. If its adding an oiling step i think it may be a downgrade for reliability no?

No
I am looking to buy one for my new AUG and it’s not available online, may I know where and when it will be available thanks in advance
Does this work even with Styers upgraded orange springs?
Yes it does. It's super smooth
The inside of that pack looks like a black hole until you shine the flashlight into it. You need a much better spotlight to make a decent video.
Are these assemblies used in the full auto or semi auto rifles?
ldkisuvghlyi, semi auto. The full auto trigger arrangement requires a full length pull. Half pull is semi auto, and for full auto, the extra trigger pull allows full auto fire.
Where i can buy it in Austria/Europa

Can this be installed along with a "Trigger Tamer" and what would be the estimated trigger pull weight?
***** I was wondering the same.
Did you guys ever get an answer or find out by trying?
I was told it's not recommended.
