I'm going pizza every time and Pam, the crunch says it all. We do a fun pizza when the kids are over for quick night. We use tortillas for our crust and have all the pizza toppings out so they can make their own pizza. Another good video guys. I'm going to check our bed when we pull it out of winter storage. Great crunch..you are right! We do Tortilla pizza as well...or even flatbread...but nothing like good pizza dough baked into crust!!. On the bed frame...maybe get proactive and add that 1x6 before it becomes an issue.

Next time you are in Florida try making in home made...or better yet....we will have you over and we will make it for you. We are glad to spend some much time with you guys as well..it was a blast.
We had a futton when we were in college years ago, that was built better than most RV frames. We destroyed the futton frame over the course of a few semesters. Considering the assembly line craftsmanship now, I'm surprised we haven't destroyed the motorhome frame as well. So well done on showing wear, tear and maintenance when subjected to a healthy couple's proper (or improper, judgment free zone) usage. I think we may need to step up our game as our Entegra bed frame is still intact.
Haha.....take it through Shreveport a few times and and can artificially beef up your man card. You will break the bed frame and how you explain it, well thats your business. :-)

Stay tuned on the bed....we are passing back through Shreveport today as a matter of fact and all things that can break in an RV seem to do it there. Its like the RV proving grounds...meaning proving that they dont mfg these things well enough. Haha. Cheers as well.

We spent the month of February in Florida 2 weeks in lake placid, 1 week in Ocala, 1 week in Avon Park. The entire month it never got over 74 during the day and always in the mid to low 40's at night. I might ad high winds every day.
We had heard that the weather was just horrible in Florida this winter. Still sorry, we missed it. It's always a great time to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Lynn and Danny

Florida weather unpredictable all year, glad it turned out good. We went through a tornado scare in Rockport, spent about 30 minutes in a public restroom😂. The never ending RV fixes. Thank you for sharing have a good day.

Are you saying that in relation to the bed-slide coming apart? That is a pretty common issue for bed-slides and as far as I know is independent of frame failure. I bet it's due to bad design and shoddy assembly though.
Its really how they attach the bed frame to the wall....this really needs to be reinforced. Also think about where this is located, right above the truck axles and the jarring across crappy roads I believe is more jarring than on a travel trailer. Thats only my opinion though.
I was just looking at making reservations for next winter in FL! This has been second guessing myself lol. It would still beat the snow though. I’m going to check out the video you did on the campground now. Still trying to decide where to book for a couple of weeks.
Really well done, guys! Florida was incredibly cold during the RV show. Glad to see it finally warmed up. Looks like a great time at the exchange. We've been to several campgrounds that didn't look great but the people and the staff were awesome! Looks like you had a great month!

Crazy weather in the gulf.... We had a crazy storm in Galveston earlier this month. We love homemade pizza!! Nothing like it!! Always some sort of repairs in RV Life!!
Agreed....always fixing something!! The Texas Coast can be rough for storms as well...the wind is non stop down there. On the Pizza...go find a Publix and get their dough...they usually carry Polly-o Whole Milk Mozzarella and set the oven temp on at least 450...dont forget the cornmeal under the crust!!

oh my goodness you have made me want Pizza not just Pizza but homemade pizza! The Cornmeal on the bottom is what is used at a few of our most favorite pizza places and yes the crust is so crisp and yummy! We always have something we have to be working on around the RV but much easier then all the things at the sticks and bricks thats for sure. We cant wait to be meeting up with more folks on the road how fun! That Joel sure is awesome and gets around we may have to see if we can book him when he is in our neck of the woods! February looks amazing can't wait to see! Miss you guys so happy we can watch your adventures but really hope we get t o adventure with you again soon! Safe Travels!
Not if...BUT when you get to Florida...get the Publix ( big grocery chain n Florida)...get the dough..good cheese...Tillamook whole milk is awesome too, 400deg F in the oven and Boom....perfection!! Dont forget the corm meal for under the crust. Joel does great work. Summer is coming...lets make it work!!

It's a cooking and RV repair vlog,lol....so many of these RV's Manufactured out of Elkhart, Ind. are just crap. Great video...I was located on the "Panhandle" where the tornado hit, BUT not in a RV .

No offense, but it sounds like you made a bad assumption regarding the video content. With Winter being a noun, I figured it was related to weather. If the title had said “Wintering in Florida”, you may have had a legitimate claim IMO.

We travel with our wood-fired pizza oven so next time we are nearby we will have pizza! My crust beats Publix though. 😜 It’s the flour I use.
