If you complete three full program and build your analyst project portfolio, you can definitely start applying for entry level positions.
I see programs like this way more expensive. What’s the difference?
Now I’m ready for that interview
I am obsessed with data analysis and BI and your channel has amazed me. I have just watched two videos and it feels like I won't stop until I am done with them all. Thank you so much for the great content and for paving my road into the BI word. If you could show us please a real life example of a business case where the use of BI plays a key role and makes a postive impact on a company's successful performance or problem sloving outcome, that would be really great.
All appreciation from KSA. 🍀✌🏼
That’s a great idea for a video! Thanks
Thanks :) I work at IBM and we use oracle OBIEE. just spent the last 3 days down this rabbit hole. starts to make sense after awhile. this video was good recap of it all ! thanks again

Hi I am looking for a job as a BI developer. Please contact
Thank you for this great content. I think its enormously valuable if veterans of certain fields (such as BI) do explanatory introduction videos, they become richer since theoretical concepts are held by the backbone of practicion for years.
My pleasure!
The way that you explained all 7 BI Terms helped a lot to understand the concept behind business intelligence 💯 New subscriber over here ✊🏾😁
Excellent! This for the sub!
Thank you. by the way, I am learning web development myself so these tuts might be quite useful for me.

Hi Adam, Am here in the US, have an Accounting and Finance background but for the past 6 or 7 months now I have this urge to become a Data Analyst soo badly, then boom, I discovered your channel. I have read and watched many videos from others but I won't lie, they don't give me a sense of direction in pursuing and building my career in Data Analytics. If you don't mind, can you coach me or be my mentor or something. You're amazing in your explanation and seem soo cool.
Thanks for your feedback, I’m glad you’re finding my content useful. I would love to be able to mentor people but I’m afraid I just don’t have the spare time after running 2 businesses, producing content and spending time with my family. If there’s anything specific you’d like me to cover in a future video please feel free to ask.
Thanks a lot, mate. You saved my life today :)
Metaphorically speaking I hope! 😂
Very helpful i hope this video help me in my job interview tomorrow 👍🏼👍🏼
I hope so too. Good luck!
Great video, greetings from Colombia.
Thank you! Seems like they are quite a few Colombians who watch my videos 🙏
Such a great teacher. Thank you for this content!

Thank you for the great explanation. I came across a lot of articles that mention things like reports and visualizations, are these the same as Dashboards? or is it something different?
Thanks for your question Waleed. A visualisation is simply a visual representation of your aggregated data like a chart, graph or table. In terms of the difference between reports and dashboards, all dashboards are reports but not all reports are dashboards :) Basically, a dashboard should be a single page, "at-a-glance" report that allows a viewer to see easily and clearly how a business is performing. A report, in the traditional sense, tends to be narrational in nature, going into more detail and telling a story over more than one page. Hope this helps!
@@LearnBI You just demystified this. Apt and perfect. Good job
cool video)
Thank you
Very Good job
Thanks!
4:25 > _"or if u're old school: MS Access"_
haha, u got me there :D
though i will learn *SQL
..... soon
What do we need to know for business analysis, what codes or tables ? Thanks you ✨
From Turkey ❤️
You'll need to know SQL for querying databases. Tables are what databases are made up of so it would depend on the database. Hope that helps!
This is pretty good
Thanks for your feedback
Thanks!
You're welcome!
Appreciate your explanations, it's helping me process this info. I wonder if you could help me understand the difference between BI, BA, and Data Analysis - is BI and DA focus on present info while BA focus on the future?
BUSINESS Intelligence is using BUSINESS data to analyse and monitor BUSINESS performance to make smarter BUSINESS decisions. Data analysis can be done for different purposes, one of the being part of the BI process. For me BA and BI are fairly interchangeable. Hope this helps!
@@LearnBI Thank you!
Thank you again, Adam, for a very helpful video.
I'd hate to be the person who hears "ETL" mentioned for
the first time during an interview without having a clue.
1. Data Silo
2. Data Warehouse
3. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
4. RDBMS stands for Relational Database Management Systems.
It's the base for: SQL, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, ORACLE, My-SQL and Microsoft Access
5. SQL (Structured Query Language)
6. KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
7. Dashboard
You're welcome!
First time i watched your video,I felt if I don't subscribe,then I'm crazy😂
Thanks for the sub!
great !
Glad you like it!
thank you
You're welcome :)
Thanks
You're welcome!
Sir, the subject that I misunderstood from all concepts is how to start working with BI and does it need any installing software to be in laptop or enough to use the existing excel ? Thanks
I'd suggest diving deeper by watching a few more videos from the channel. I'd start with What is Business Intelligence? BI for Beginners
ruclips.net/video/-I23qGB6JdY/видео.html
Wow amazing content. I wish to become a BI but I'm in IT support. I have zero coding skills. Can I try for BI?
Yes, of course! BI isn't all about coding, it's about knowing how to access data and transform it into valuable insights. I would recommend watching this video: ruclips.net/video/o5IeDYPHov8/видео.html&t to understand the kinds of skills you need to succeed in BI
Bloody hell - that intro was loud through headphones!
Guaranteed to blow your mind away
You are just synonym for "PERFECT"❤️
Thank you, you're too kind ☺️
Hi i completed the google analytics data certification last month, there’s a recruiter from Amazon recruiting me to join his business intelligence engineering team. I don’t think I’m ready for interview with Amazon since I have limited experience, what do I do? I already told the recruiter I learned sql select*from where etc
What if they ask complicated questions? Please help me
I think that, as long as you’re honest about your experience when asked by the recruiter, it’s up to them to decide whether you have the right credentials for what they’re looking for. If you don’t, I don’t think you will even get to the interview stage. Even if you do, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Especially in terms of experience in interviewing for jobs like this. Good luck!
If you're even older old school (AKA you're old like me) "dBase IV" was a thing.
I’m old enough to remember when Data was punched onto cards and fed into a big machine to create a data set 😂
@@LearnBI I'm probably just after that era, but my first job involved data storage on those massive 9 track tape reels - so yeah, things have changed a "bit" lol.
not bad, but should have shown examples, particularly of kpis, in a dashboatd.
I knew I had to subscribe the minute I found out the BOOK you refer to as Bible.
Every data analyst should read it 😁
I am surprised Oracle is not in the RDBMS list
It’s not a list, it’s just a few examples. If I’d have left MySQL out you’d have said the same thing, no?
"Stay BI curious" lmao
Interesting. 'BI curious' sounds like 'bi-curious'. 😄
That was kind of the idea 🧐

I subscribed as soon as you started explaining hardcore terms in simple language. Coming from NON IT background. It's difficult to understand blogs and online articles on data analysis. Thank you for this
Glad you found it helpful!
