Surely someone already said this but if you look at the ledger it appears nobody wrote their own departure date. For obvious reasons they are all filled in by the same person. Lovely details in this game
I noticed that too, like the hand writing is different from their how they signed their names and date of check in to checking out. It really is small details that make a big difference in everything lol. Hope you have a good day btw
1:14:51 When Gab said "You're not holding each other's hands", I burst out laughing. Can you imagine Jamie turns on the light and there's the killer between them holding hands with both of them. 🤣
I think Charlie is afraid of Jamie and so that's why he acts differently around her, but then treats Erin like absolute garbage when no one else is around. He knows the whole team would get on him, but he knows that Jamie would full on beat his ass if she heard the way he talks to Erin. Especially after he snooped on them in the room.
He's really a perfect representation of that boss everyone has suffered under at least once; bullies the underlings that aren't able to stand up for themselves, grudgingly acts respectful to the ones who can, and if he gets called either flips his lid and tries to intimidate with anger, or tries to schmooze his way out of a tight spot. Good writing, I like it
@@impposter560 I think he acts like this because he has a hard time accepting the truth. He's probobly being shitty to his employers because he is stressed about his company going bankrupt, which for him would be the worst thing to happen to him. Thats my take on it at least.
@@allodet7087 You're probably right. Just specifically the way he treated Erin about the cigarettes made made me go "Aha! Asshole!" Either way, one of the better written characters
There are at least 6 places she can die in the game, more than any person, I'm sure. It's as if the death of the quietest-seeming person is the game's preference to set up real terror.
Was playing around with Granthem Du’met name and realized it’s an anagram for Herman Mudgett which is H.H. Holmes real name. Not sure if that means anything or not, but enjoying the game so far!
I'm so glad someone else noticed! I ended up plaid this game later than I normally played the Anthology games, and I'm now finally interacting with the community and watching other ppl play it - somehow, very few people seem to have noticed! It clicked for me when I found the first business card. (one of the five, each lists the "professions" that Holmes lists in the prologue) It's fascinating and clever and totally plays into the extensive theory I've worked on to answer lingering questions I had!
Hi, Gab. You're doing so well so far! A friendly tip about Mark's camera: think of it like you're taking pictures of evidence for the police. So anything that might look sus (like the mark on the desk that looked like an axe) should get a picture. You'll see a green circle if it's a photo op.
Does it change anything in the game? I pretty much ignored that mechanic, and (nearly) everyone survived. Mostly for curiosity, because I doubt I'll do another run.
I appreciate the Nancy Drew aspect of Gabs going back into her clues and preceding together the story herself and verbalizing it for us. She was making connections between characters and fitting the puzzle pieces
The counter on the wall was at 178 when you first saw it. So as it's changed to 180 my guess is that it's a kill counter and Du'met and his daughter didn't actually get away. Haven't finished the episode yet so I can't claim to be giving anyone information that they don't already have.
You found a piece of paper with the printed Email inviting a guy to come and stay at the hotel in a group of five, and the reply mentioned bringing his wife and kids and brother. I'm guessing the guy you thought was DuMet at the start was actually that guy, and the dude held the little girl hostage and promised to let him go if he got the next group to the island for him.
I'm glad to watch your playthrough. I;ve seen someone else play it and be very negative about the game. And the excitement you started this with reminded me why i love watching you play through games. You give the game a fair chance and try to approach it with a fresh few and positive attitude.
I haven’t played far enough myself to know, but my personal theory is that that counter that says 180 is a kill count of some sort adding on to what HHHolmes did. In the first episode it was 178 and now it’s 180 so I think that “Mr. Du’Met” was actually someone the real Mr. Du’Met threatened to pose as Mr. Du’Met by using his daughter, and then killed both of them off anyways.
Yuuuup, the serial killer's presence was all over the lighthouse across from the island. Heck, even a mannequin was there. With how methodical this killer has been, I doubt he'd let any one go and risk having them blab. It's not like the serial killer has any qualms about killing children. A number of previous groups had them and unless they're locked in the basement, I doubt they're alive.
I think deep down Charlie really cares a lot about his team since they are the closest thing he has to family. I really enjoy the character interactions in this game even the friendly jabs they make at each other makes it seem more realistic. I like to see how the characters come closer together through such a horrifying adventure and really discover who they are, what they mean to each other, and how to better themselves.
Agreed! I found this cast easier to connect with and care about/worry for during the game (vs the other Anthology crews, which I still liked but with mixed feelings).
After what happened to Erin, knowing the stories of HHH, learning that Du'met had left the island, DUDE, I would've thrown a chair through a window and found a way to freaking leave by making some kind of drape-rope or something.
that's what I was thinking the entire time. Find a window. find a chair or something, use it to break the window. use the bedsheets to be a rope and climb down then run/swim for your life
I've noticed that all the groups being requested to do construction or some sort of work on the hotel are in groups of five, like the groups written in the guest sign in. Maybe those groups account for the possible kill count on the wall that Jaime notices, and the killer didn't start having the guests write their names until later on. I also noticed that Kate Schroder, who was probably in one of the groups being tortured, seemed to be luring the next group in (the contractors) with her letter to work on the spa. Just an observation!
Would be cool if the killer killed 4 out of the 5 each time, and then promises the last one they can leave if they help lure 5 more people in. But idk, I'd also love a supernatural element like in the last game.
@@Rhaifha That's decidedly where my mind was going, too; that the killer left someone from each group (or, at the very least, the more recent groups) alive to lure the others in. I'd be okay stepping away from any supernatural elements this time around for a more cerebral, psychological horror experience.
@@jazzwalgar1 i think that in Du'Met's case, all but his daughter was killed and she was somehow left blissfully unaware of what happened to her mom because she wasn't freaking out or anything, was waving to our current playable characters and had to lure us in or his kid would die and so would he.
One of the notes did say the hotel is an experience for 5 people. Absolutley agree on one person being left to lure a new group in and think that's exactly what DeMer was doing (also somehow keeping his daughter alive as well)
@@sofiesusi Whoever the killer is kept the daughter hostage to make sure he'd do it after offing the wife/mother. I notice that whoever is contacted about visiting the hotel manages to be the one that survives so I'm going to softly go with the theory that Charlie could be unkillable or just really hard to kill. Whoever the correspondence is addressed to seems to make it out alive every time.
The flash mechanic that Mark has is EXTREMELY reminiscent of the apartment scene in the original Saw movie. Adam is walking around his completely pitch black apartment using the camera flash to get glimpses of a pathway. Then all you hear is Billy the puppet laughing and it’s so scary. I really hope they do something similar to that.
fun fact: 0451 is a really commonly used number sequence in video games. it was a safe code for one of the safes in the last of us part 2. it was started by Looking Glass Studios and was apparently the studios door code
Yeah, honestly I've noticed horror fans are so prioritized with the scares that a game could be literal dogshit and as long as it scares them once or twice, horror RUclipsrs will always give it at least *some* praise. The gameplay in most horror games, including Dark Pictures games, are extremely weak. But that's fine as long as you can intrigue the player with a good story, a mystery and interesting characters.
Why do none of them prop the doors open? Jamie and Charlie know the doors close on their own and they have been in rooms with chairs and other items. Just use something to keep the door open before entering smh
Exactly what I thought too! They literally just had an experience where a door closed and a murder scene played out, they should REALLY know to be careful of such things now! There was a pig carcass right there that they could've pulled over to stop the door from closing
Kate: remember when we talked about boundaries? i need my own private space Also kate: *swings marks door open without knocking* right time to take some pictures lets go!
That barbershop quartet was so cool!!! And very spooky, if your theory about what's in those animatronics is true, Gab. 😨 Also I just have to say, your little goblin voice that comes out here and there is one of my favorite things ever. So cute! Thanks for this playthrough! I'm gonna see this one to the end before I watch anybody else play it. 💓
I'm curious to know whether the bodies in the 'hospital' area are like that because of silver poisoning. The recording said the treatment used pure silver as part of the treatment, and over the four week period would be enough to give the bodies Argyria, turning eyes, nails, skin and hair blue grey. If that was something they added it would be such a cool detail. Also, really hope there are body parts in the mannequins.
I really appreciate the time Gab takes to actually look around and enjoy the game for what it is. Just finished Jack's playthrough and, while he found a lot of things, Gab has already found more. Plus she went through the one door and immediately was worried she didn't look around enough. The fact she paused and listened to the conversations with Erin was nice cause I wanted to hear the conversation while Jack just walked on through. Kinda shocked neither noticed the voice was the same as Mr. Du'Met, but depending on how far apart you record these it's easy to forget.
I will say sometimes I have to suck it up, scream loudly, and go release a spider outside because I'm not letting that big ol' critter occupy the same space as I am. If they want that privilege, evolve enough to know not to be seen. My old phobia of heights? Had to exposure myself out of it. Yes there are times when you just have to face it screaming but that really wasn't it. He didn't exactly have a serial killer on him at that point. Or have his sleep threatened. Etc. At that point a good idea would have been to call for Kate, let her have a few quips, and either switch characters or have a few QTEs while Mark has a mini panic attack and it's going to progressively get worse as that mannequin tries to slash at the two. It just needed some more. I understand things needed to be done, but... then switch a character or traumatize Mark. Not very hard of a choice and it could push Mark later on, given where this game goes.
And Erin being scared af and then just… sitting on her bed NOT even thinking about packing up? Wtf. “Oh I’m so afraid, we’re in danger… let’s chill here for a while”
commenting @ 26:00 but this game so far seems much more fleshed out than the previous games, including mechanics and character interactions :3 I'm so excited to see more of the story and how everything progresses. I also love that each character has a special skill, it makes everyone feel important to the story more so than the other games. SO glad you're playing this Gab!!!
I noticed that this game’s mechanics are much more fleshed out, but it seems to be at the expense of stability. Characters snap to positions and it’s a bit jittery. Hopefully next season they can get both right.
On the contrary, it's a lot thinner in story and characters. The free roaming sections are there to pad out the lack of narrative. Every other game at this point had you question what's truly going on while here we're in a derivative murder house with everyone involved suffering from fatal shit to the brain.
tried to watch the rest of the game from other content creators but no one does it like Gab. there's always a certain charisma in all of Gab's vids WILL REFRAIN FROM BINGE WATCHING. WAITING FOR YOU PATIENTLY, GAB
I'm really glad to see someone take the time to explore and look for everything and go back over collected information. Normally I watch Jack play, so he misses a lot of stuff
I'm halfway through the game and I absolutely love it. By far my favourite in the series. Playing as Erin and using the microphone and headphones had me so paranoid. Also, the plot is really intriguing, and the most interesting out of the series. While I loved House of Ashes, it was more action than horror. The Devil In Me gives me Until Dawn vibes just without the supernatural aspect.
Since Gab’s came out first, I’m gonna watch all of hers before going to Sean’s. I can’t watch two playthroughs of the same game or else I get confused 😂
I really like Gab's playstyle. She's very thorough and thinks out loud about the story. I like Sean too, but seems like he's just trying to find clever one-liners lately.
@@oceankuhn9785 I hated Seans playthrough :/ I would love if he did not play these games. He does not even pretend enjoying these games. He complains and whines how bad they are. But it brings him money when he plays stuff that is popular.
Wow, I think this one has to be the scariest. My thought is Du Met is being forced to bring people to the murder hotel to avoid the demise of himself or his daughter, but who knows?
Both. And I still remember the trailer for this coming out at the end of House of Ashes. Gab's theory about dead bodies being fused with the mannequins is not far fetched. The killer (real Du'Met?) took some of Erin's actual hair and has gathered items from all of the people we play as that would be significant to them like Charlie's extra cap. It's like an obsessed fan, the way he gathers what later becomes trophies from his victims and uses the recordings and staging mannequins to almost make a tribute to them, putting so much work into their tiny details.
The place with the balconies instantly made me think of the library from Resi 2. Erin has more courage than I’ll ever have, walking around with the microphone like that.
I didn’t know who she was before this! All I could think was Kate looks like Elliot Page. I didn’t know if they referenced his face or anything since it’s so recognisable. Kind of like The Last of Us.
I would for real not want anything that actually belonged to him near me and this guy sought it out. I already find it insane that he purposely recreated parts of the Murder Castle. You can look at it as a very hard accomplishment as an architect but overall, it's just creepy and is one of the things you just don't do. You need to just respect that people died in the original entity and that it's entirely messed up.
@@Gloomcookie96 respect a serial killer? I feel like it is messed up not because he is dead, but because he was a terrible person & his actions led to the deaths and suffering of many people :/
@@user-xq6cn3xx3e which is exactly what I said. I in no way said I respect a serial killer. I don't even like saying the names of killers because that's just remembering them and not the actual people who suffered.
Omg this crew was so ready to just wreck this hotel that they were invited to before they even knew anything spooky was going on. Just throwing cabinets down a floor, or dragging book shelves on hardwood.
37:55 - Odd, but I really felt that him promising dinner and not delivering was a miserable betrayal on his part. Lure people to your Murder Castle (Island Edition)? Sure, OK, that's reasonable. But promising dinner and not delivering is just being a lousy host.
I think Gab's theory about the mannequins is disturbingly going to be correct because I remember the trailer for this and the man who was assumed to be the serial killer was working with at least human skulls, particularly teeth and mechanically manipulating their faces. Definitely not far fetched that he'd go for the full body. It reminded me of the days when your town butcher would also be your doctor and dentist because those were all considered in the same vein of work, dealing with death and pain.
Dang, that section with Erin was great! Really nailed the atmosphere and didn't cheapen it with any tropes. This has been great fun to watch so far, I look forward to the next episodes! 🥳
I absolutely love watching horror with you Gab! ALSO. I love your critical thinking in these situations. Can't wait to see more. SIDE NOTE. I never understand why people don't try to break through walls. I highly doubt that whole house would have reinforced walls -- maybe for the sliding ones, but for every door you can't bust through, why not try a wall? (Especially if interior).
I'm so glad that the actual game is listed in the description instead of FNAF. Especially even though the word animatronic came up multiple times in this vid. Thank you for another fun one!
of all the dark pictures games this is by far the most well done! it's also scariest of all of them. this is only where i find myself watching through my fingers at times but i'm also on the edge of my seat wanting to know where the story is going to go. excited for the next episode!
omg i’m so glad i’m rewatching gab’s house of ashes gameplay bc there was a newspaper talking abt manny sherman that she read abt in the beginning! probably no connection lol but a fun little easter egg :)
So excited to see how everyone ends up and more about the story! I really enjoyed reading The Devil in the White City and am curious about how the stories end up lining up!
Loved that Erin section! I’m also trying to decide if that “groundskeeper death” was a set up and fake or not? Especially after playing Until Dawn 🤔 I also really hope your theory of people in those mannequins is right because I’m getting some serious House of Wax vibes!
That section with erin was my favourite part. It reminded me so much of stefano's domain from the evil within 2 and made me happy since thats one of my fave horror games. This is amazing so far!!
My theory is that the killer saves someone from the previous group (or a couple to incentivize them) in order to find five other people to lure into the hotel. Also the idea about the bodies in the mannequins is such a good idea! Looking forward to the next video!
I had a teacher that was a very heavy ex smoker but he would still exhale loudly even though he didn’t smoke for years. Very cool detail that they made the director character breath weirdly because of being very desperate to smoke.
I've been looking up a few other peoples' playthrough of the game, because I really wanted to know how it continues - but your way of playing the game is by far the most fun to me. I'll definitely stick around to see how the story unfolds! You go Gab!!
The mechanics in this game are sooooo much cooler than some of their older ones. I can’t believe we’ve gone from Man of Medan to THIS. That bit with the directional mic was sooo well done, and I LOVE the animatronic quartet. Man I’m excited for the rest of this
At 46:17 when the number on the wall says 0180, the number when the group first arrived was 0178. So for some reason it counted up two.. I also don't think Mr. Du'Met has actually left.. I think that was some poor man and his daughter that were from the group before that left. Or he was some random man and his daughter that Mr. Du'Met kidnapped and threatened, saying if that man didn't get another group to show up then he would kill his daughter/little girl. Another theory I have is that the man cut Erin's hair so that he could colour match her hair for those dummy's. I think all of the animatronic guys are all modeled after previous groups visiting and whoever is doing this has already been making animatronics of Charlie and Kate (the animatronic that had the eye camera still out was a ginger like Kate) and also the guy was at the same time sewing something into the eye socket of a black mannequin/animatronic like Jamie.... 🤔
Not touching the syringe in this reminds me of making the decision in Until Dawn not to touch that bear trap that hurts Mike’s hand, definitely a decision of ‘just because you can touch something, doesn’t mean you should ‘ haha
This was TENSE! Love the atmosphere, had to pause a few times to calm myself, no idea how you could keep going with hallway scene with Erin! Can't wait for the next installment
So far I really love it! I reeeaally like that it's leaned on H.H.Holmes, which is very interesting, but it's its own story! Also just the touch of horror movie feeling because of the filming crew trope - yes! It gives you already some really good chills and also makes you like really think and come up with some theories without it being too revealing and also not being too fast in its general pace. Some things happened but it's still at a nice tempo u know
Ive been wondering all throughout this game of a way to make their model's eyes/line of sight more realistic lol, like the models are fantastic (body types, race, features, coloring everything seems nice to me) and the body language too, the mouth even is pretty well synced with the speech and tone delivery, id love for them to kinda connect visually too
I am so glad that you posted the next part of this video game!! I have been watching your old gameplays from this anthology!! I can't wait to see what happens!!
I am really enjoying this so far, such a good set-up for murderous shenanigans. This might just be the best Dark Pictures game yet, but they'll have to keep the tense atmosphere up and stick the landing. I just can't wait to see what this all leads up to.
Been a long time since a games jump scares REALLY got me good. But OMG this game, I nearly fell out of my chair and dropped my coffee cup! The build up is wildly disturbing and brilliant. I would not be able to play this myself - Lol. Thanks Gabs

Charlie's facial "donor" seems like a familiar actor whose probably been in a previous Dark Pictures game (He's the bus driver in the Salem game!). Jamie's face was in House of Ashes. Kate's actress was in Netflix's "I'm Thinking of Ending Things"

It clicked for me when I found the first business card. (one of the five, each lists the "professions" that Holmes lists in the prologue)
It's fascinating and clever and totally plays into the extensive theory I've worked on to answer lingering questions I had!
Great find! This is one of my favourite games and I never noticed.
Hi, Gab. You're doing so well so far! A friendly tip about Mark's camera: think of it like you're taking pictures of evidence for the police. So anything that might look sus (like the mark on the desk that looked like an axe) should get a picture. You'll see a green circle if it's a photo op.
Mostly it just means mannequins, though. Also any type of blood splatter, but mostly the mannequins.
Do you know why that first doorpost was a picture opportunity? It didn't look weird or suspicious to me
@@janavanbellingen8531 could it be the white stuff that looks like it's leaking? idk tho
Does it change anything in the game? I pretty much ignored that mechanic, and (nearly) everyone survived. Mostly for curiosity, because I doubt I'll do another run.
@Madness1 it has no effect on story, but it does give you more collectibles in the extras menu
That group of 5 is in the log book of guests, “signed out” by the Du’Met. Which means they’re dead by the start of the game.
That was the Morrello family, one set of victims prior to the cast's arrival and their names are in the logbook.
I'm glad to watch your playthrough. I;ve seen someone else play it and be very negative about the game. And the excitement you started this with reminded me why i love watching you play through games. You give the game a fair chance and try to approach it with a fresh few and positive attitude.
Amen.
@@vivil8005 Maybe that was what the premonition of the ship wreck meant.
@@eryuu4016 (premonition! permission is when you're allowed to do something :) )
@@aud7593 Haha. Yeah. Stupid autocorrect.
Wait but we saw them leave. Did the killer teleport to the island to kill them?
Lol, “it’s just blood”
They're on wn island though so they cant
Right? Then I would've swam back to the other side, even if I'd drown at least I'd be out of the goddamn murder castle.
Loll like in beauty and the beast
that's what I was thinking the entire time.
When they got to the booby trapped room with a tied guy I instantly thought "this is turning into Saw"
I immediately thought "Rear Window" !
yes!!! it reminded me of the gameplay from Dreadout as well when the lady has to use the flash of her phone to see in the dark
@@AnnaKin me too! That and the Psycho reference are making me thing Hitchcock VERY much.
yeah this game is very saw-inspired imo (not a bad thing, i love saw)
fun fact: 0451 is a really commonly used number sequence in video games. it was a safe code for one of the safes in the last of us part 2. it was started by Looking Glass Studios and was apparently the studios door code
oh wow, thats really cool :D!!
And it's inspired by Fahrenheit 451!
The code also appeared in Spider-man 2, when you're playing as MJ there's a thing to unlock with the code 0451.
“If you’re a horror fan your standards are pretty low anyway” lmao Gab. So true
Kate: remember when we talked about boundaries? i need my own private space
Also kate: *swings marks door open without knocking* right time to take some pictures lets go!
This is easily the best dark pictures best game yet. So many great horror movie references and moments. The villian is truly sadistic.
I agree!!
Late question, but which voice was the same as Du'Met's? I maybe didn't catch that either... 🤔
The most unrealistic part of this game when Mark who afraids of heights jump from cupboard to cupboard
For real, I wish they never added that in- it’s just clumsy storytelling. And when he walks across that log really high up at the start?
Wtf. “Oh I’m so afraid, we’re in danger… let’s chill here for a while”
@@pb542 To be fair, she was told she was hallucinating. I would kind of calm down after and think it was because of my anxiety / asthma attack.
commenting @ 26:00 but this game so far seems much more fleshed out than the previous games, including mechanics and character interactions :3 I'm so excited to see more of the story and how everything progresses.
Every other game at this point had you question what's truly going on while here we're in a derivative murder house with everyone involved suffering from fatal shit to the brain.
tried to watch the rest of the game from other content creators but no one does it like Gab. there's always a certain charisma in all of Gab's vids
WILL REFRAIN FROM BINGE WATCHING.
I left Seán’s upload to watch this first because Gab’s play throughs are my favorite ♥️ I’ve been waiting for part 2
Same!
I usually only watch seans since i know im usually in for a laugh so ive already watched his two....and ive watched all hollows game play of this
@@oceankuhn9785 I hated Seans playthrough :/
I would love if he did not play these games.
Charlie: Would it kill you to think positively for once?
Everyone: Literally yes
I love Kate's actress, Jesse Buckley. She has really taken off in popularity recently and I'm so in love with her work ❤
Her performance in some later possible scenes (not spoiling obviously) were *so* good. Gave me chills
@@PoIarization101 Ooo okay, I'm looking forward to seeing!!
Loved her ever since chernobyl! Such a good actress
I didn’t know who she was before this! All I could think was Kate looks like Elliot Page. I didn’t know if they referenced his face or anything since it’s so recognisable. Kind of like The Last of Us.
@@anonymoustoes it's jesse's face lol
I love how they just causally have his real hat sitting in the hotel. The hunter in me was screaming "salt and burn that shit!" 😅
supernatural fan i see :D!
I feel like it is messed up not because he is dead, but because he was a terrible person & his actions led to the deaths and suffering of many people :/
@@user-xq6cn3xx3e no, respect the victims
@@user-xq6cn3xx3e which is exactly what I said. I in no way said I respect a serial killer. I don't even like saying the names of killers because that's just remembering them and not the actual people who suffered.
Omg this crew was so ready to just wreck this hotel that they were invited to before they even knew anything spooky was going on. Just throwing cabinets down a floor, or dragging book shelves on hardwood.
Kate: Walks right into Mark's room uninvited
Also Kate: Get's pissy about Mark going into her room
and then the next time he comes in without permission, she says nothing lol
37:55 - Odd, but I really felt that him promising dinner and not delivering was a miserable betrayal on his part. Lure people to your Murder Castle (Island Edition)? Sure, OK, that's reasonable. But promising dinner and not delivering is just being a lousy host.
I love how they just put everything they pick up on the floor rather than on a table or shelf where it might go. It's just like my room!
(Especially if interior).
finished jack’s playthrough and came running to see how you progressed in yours, super excited to rewatch as so far you have erin alive :)
Yaaay, i've been looking forward for part 2! (was trying to avoid all the spoilers to experience the game for the first time with you)
08:44 - burst into his bedroom
12:50 - "Whoa! Boundaries!! Remember??"
omg i’m so glad i’m rewatching gab’s house of ashes gameplay bc there was a newspaper talking abt manny sherman that she read abt in the beginning! probably no connection lol but a fun little easter egg :)
I love that you play these so I can enjoy the story without having to suffer the gameplay haha
i love that you actually take the time to thoroughly search all the areas to find secrets. queen!
I want someone to do a "Say Nothing" run where they always say nothing LOL!
Lmao now that youve said it I want that too.
Just *awkward silence* 😂
Rtgames did alot of that in his recent playtrough of man of medan
I've been looking up a few other peoples' playthrough of the game, because I really wanted to know how it continues - but your way of playing the game is by far the most fun to me. I'll definitely stick around to see how the story unfolds! You go Gab!!
The mechanics in this game are sooooo much cooler than some of their older ones. I can’t believe we’ve gone from Man of Medan to THIS.
That bit with the directional mic was sooo well done, and I LOVE the animatronic quartet. Man I’m excited for the rest of this
Man of Medan was actually very scary.
@@Picnicl I think they meant the gameplay mechanics?
Listening to the tape recordings is so unnerving. I didn't think this game would be so creepy. I'm honestly so stoked for more.
I've already watched a playthru of this and you're so thorough and got so much extra than they did. Love your style Gab ❤
Not touching the syringe in this reminds me of making the decision in Until Dawn not to touch that bear trap that hurts Mike’s hand, definitely a decision of ‘just because you can touch something, doesn’t mean you should ‘ haha
I laughed way too hard at the little 🎶 Joseph Morello 🎶. I love your playthroughs of these games ❤️
This was TENSE! Love the atmosphere, had to pause a few times to calm myself, no idea how you could keep going with hallway scene with Erin! Can't wait for the next installment
"Don't you have a mask with you like a N95" loved when she said that. Gabby is too funny
I JUST finished part 1. Perfect timing ! It's so intriguing
It's been awhile since I've seen a gameplay of something that genuinely creeps me out like this- the atmosphere is bone chilling I love it so so much!
Some things happened but it's still at a nice tempo u know
I FEEL THE ANXIETY IN MY KNEES!!! Can you imagine going through that mic scene as Erin??
Literally jumped over from Nancy Drew: The Scarlett Hand to this when I got the notification 😂
Ive been wondering all throughout this game of a way to make their model's eyes/line of sight more realistic lol, like the models are fantastic (body types, race, features, coloring everything seems nice to me) and the body language too, the mouth even is pretty well synced with the speech and tone delivery, id love for them to kinda connect visually too
27:50 You're right. If it's inside, it's the mezzanine. But occasionally you'll see "balcony" when selecting theatre tickets or something
Wow, I'm loving the story so far, the creepy atmosphere and mystery was on point
I am so glad that you posted the next part of this video game!! I have been watching your old gameplays from this anthology!! I can't wait to see what happens!!

It's 1-O-clock where I am, and I'm here for this game. Can't wait.
I’m on the edge of my seat watching you play!! So far this is my fav cast of characters yet in a dark pictures game.
Thanks Gabs

I this the voices of the couple talking around 42:34 is du'met and probably his wife.
the man's voice was definitely du'met, the young girl they were talking about is probably his daughter, and the couple was clearly talking about the current location and it seems they were well aware of the animatronics at least.
Love how every player of this game assumes that because great heights scare Mark he shouldn't even be able to be a single floor off ground level.
Just discovered you yesterday! Since that i've been checking so often for a new video. Safe to say i'll be a new regular.
Love your channel!
Charlie's facial "donor" seems like a familiar actor whose probably been in a previous Dark Pictures game (He's the bus driver in the Salem game!). Jamie's face was in House of Ashes. Kate's actress was in Netflix's "I'm Thinking of Ending Things"
