This channel has become my ultimate after work treat. I have been loving all the puzzles and mysteries that have been happening. A very nice change of pace every now and then from the main channel. I am SO invested into this story and I cannot wait to see how it unfolds.
I never really paid attention to Gab's videos because I usually just listened while doing work. Her voice is really nice. Now I got the time to watch the video. 😄 I realize Gab has such nice hands. Her fingers are long and the nails are well maintained. They are supple and strong looking. I draw things, so in my eyes, her hands are such a good model for drawing.
i was doing my nail while listening, so i had a uv lamp in my hand, i was so into it that i screamed, "i have one." im dumb like no one I really loved the stream ❤ ... i didn't know this type of board game existed... I can't wait for episode 2
I live about 20 minutes from Burkittsville, and it's so funny seeing the map include a community college, academy, hotel, etc. The town itself has like less than 100 people lol. But still so cool to see someplace local to me be brought to life for everyone to see. Love this series, can't wait for the rest!!
I mentioned it in the stream chat, but I ended up buying a small blacklight flashlight (rechargeable) because I had a different Hunt-A-Killer kit with a dead light. It will absolutely come in handy if you do more HAK mysteries! I hope you continue to do these - there are more sets that are a series, or there are standalone boxes, and all the ones I've done have been really enjoyable!
There's something so comforting about Gab making puzzles and playing board games. I feel like I'm going to rewatch all the videos on this channel just because they are so calm and cozy 😌
I am so excited! I was the one that mentioned it in a previous stream. The set, two seasons, was so much fun. I hope you enjoy it like I did Gab! Edited to add: Just finished the video and it was so good. I can remember finding all this stuff out myself. As for the pen, half the time they never worked so I would just get a blacklight. The codes do continue through the episodes. I'm so glad you were able to play this. The only bad thing was having to wait a month to get a new box because the series was once a month but so worth it. I do wish that they would continue the series but it seems a new company took it over. Maybe they will continue, I don't know. I'd love to find something similar.

Got back into puzzles and recently played my first mystery puzzle! It was called “The Hardy Boys Extreme Danger Decoder Puzzle” and it was so much fun!
This was fun. The audio file at the end was fantastic. I got filled with a sense of dread as i listened, which was really cool. Looking forward to the next installment
Can you imagine living during a time in a town where there are active disappearances of children and people are showing up murdered. The townsfolk do not appear to look into it and they do not really investigate, instead they blame it on a superstition?
me listening to you go through the list of buildings, having looked at township maps and cemetery maps and seen the differences over the centuries in how a town develops: yeah no, this map makes no frickin sense.
I keep making the mistake of playing this before I’m about to sleep, the amount of times I’ve nodded off within five mins ??? I swear that’s a compliment, it’s like ASMR for me. Also I adore the concept of these game? Puzzles !!

Random off topic note: Not uncommon for a tiny tiny town to have a community college. They service the wider area (like 1+ hour radius) so people can get certifications or two year degrees/diplomas locally without going to a larger university out of town in a large city that is hours away. (Remember our states in the US are the size of European countries) With online education being more common now we're getting more accessible options but there are some things that still have to be done in person.
An automotive place next to a diner is a common thing in older American towns as it gave a convenient place for people to stay in relative comfort while their vehicle was being worked on.

My mom bought me this little "diary" from the scholastic book club in when they were taking orders. It was a purple, paperback book with an image of a heart-lock and a matching key on the cover. This code was in that diary. So cool to see it again!
These are so good but I do wish we would take a little bit more time w everything (idk if maybe there is more stuff in the stream that's just cut here), like there's hand writing on the therapist report's back side, and there's the inconsistency of the pbj and tuna sandwich that went unnoticed and I'm sure there are other tiny misteries that we missed :(

They're either started as a stop on the way from one place to another, generally at a crossroads, or to serve a local industry. If it was a logging town, for instance, you'd see one road going to the rest of the state and another going to the actual forestry sites.
1:02:33 - I've played a bunch of at home escape rooms and I have a burner email for games like it. Like 4 out of 6 games had it for immersion. I think they were bought by a company called Relatable according to what I've read with a quick google. This is basically my idea of a fun Sunday afternoon. Also my dad and I communicated in simple codes when I was little. Like all the stick notes we'd leave with messages needed a key and we eventually left a few with morse or binary.
I am catching up on Blair Witch with Liam because I am hoping the will upload another episode soon. Now that I know everything and I am immersed in the story, i am just now asking: Why the hell does this town have a Camping Supply store when everyone is scared of the woods? It is not mapped at all, there is a famous witch that terrorizes the town, the witch has minions, and everytime there is a search party that goes out they come up emptg handed and time moves differently in the forest.
I feel bad for Rosemary, man. Imagine making a website for people to give you actual helpful tips and you only get notifications of townspeople treating it like a forum of theories, accusations and dismissing your concerns instead of anything that could actually be helpful. I mean it's Blair Witch, I'm sure there is some super natural element to it but there's a time and a place but that's not the place to do it. I know it's for the story, I'm just saying that Rosemary's a better person than me for not really going off on them for that bs. Also I absolutely think you should get a blacklight.
