Tex Avery screwball classic, Three little pups released in Dec 26 (1953) this year will make this episode 96 years old. This is based on one of the most popular fair tales the three little pigs. - Кино
“He’s so country!” That’s probably why, when Bill Hanna and Joe Barbara left MGM for their own studio, they took most of the Tex Avery and Tom &Jerry tropes with them, and the slow-drawling, slow-whistling, underreacting wolf later became Huckleberry Hound…
Correct.
@@joshuajwars4271Amen
@@joshuajwars4271Isn't having a wolf as the dog catcher redundant?
They don’t make them like they used to!
My favorite joke (besides "Joke's over") - "Now don't ask how we got the television set back." Remember, last we saw it the dog catcher swallowed it whole! One of those sneak-past-the-censors type of gags.
The dog catcher character was evolved into Huckleberry Hound by Hanna-Barbera later in the '50s.
The line about the television set makes me laugh every time. That and the cat puppet gag. "MEOW, MAN!"
@@glowworm2Having a Wolf for a dog catcher is redundant!!
The dogcatcher's tune is an earworm.
It's called "Kingdom Coming (Year of Jubilo)."
I’m surprised Tex Avery add Wolf into live action scene 7:28
It’s so amazing that he used his layout drawings and add details such as texture, and shadows. Much like from the movie “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.” It’s so beautiful
Yep 1988's live action hybrid film Who Framed Roger Rabbit set around 1947 2 years after World War 2 which is based off Gary's Censored novel set around 1980 revolves around a Doppel & Eddie sent to solve the death of Roger himself by foiling a no good genie of hell from a teapot lantern the movie scrapped 1 lantern then used the remnants of Chinatown like using dip machine and so on the first big change in plot uses Eddie Roger & Jessica voiced by Cathleen Turner to foil Doom the movie's version of the genie after becoming a toon due to flattening then dissolved in dip replacing saltwater instant win by using all characters to fill up the list.
The fourth wall breaking still cracks me up.
Okay, break it up son, Joke's over u hear?
hard to believe the guy who played Droopy also played Mister Smee from Peter Pan along with so many other roles.
I miss these cartoons.
This is my other favorite Droopy cartoon, the wolf was so funny and the gags were great and Droopy still got it. This one makes me laugh so much. 😀😃🤣❤

Spike from Tom and Jerry cameo in a Tex Avery style
My Childhood 👍😎
Man that's a funny cartoon
I love the dogcatcher's voice 😂😂😂😂
How cute it was pups including Droopy & the dog catcher with the southern accent changing pants. It's still a laugh riot to me especially when the cat puppet was chasing the toy mouse & running away up a pole. Lol 😆
Now this is a favorite of mine.
This wolf is the most laid back villain in cartoon history.
Magical Maestro, Dixieland Dog, Rock A bye Bear. The Shooting of Dan McGoo, Slap happy Lion, King Size Canary, The Cat that hated people, Senor Droopy, Bad luck Blackie, I love to Singa, The Chump Champ.
That whistIng wolf is easily one of my favorite characters. He came back in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014).
Two words: Billy Boy.
I Love Billy Boy.
Happy anniversary to the three little pups episode
@INIKA HOLIDAY CHUNG
You gotta do the Droopy episode when he was a sheepherder & he had a wife & son. Wolfie was the sheriff & he always said "It's the LAAAAWWWW of the West"
I love that episode
Is that Drag-Along Droopy or Homesteader Droopy?
@@oliverconway6960
I think it was Homesteader Droopy
Droopy: 😒
The other two: 🤪🤪
Your reactions are precious ☺️ I love all of these old cartoons, especially the Betty Boop cartoons with Cab Calloway, brings back a lot of memories of Saturday morning tv!
I love how the Wolf starts off as kind of vicious and devious but then switches to just passive and indifferent.
I’m surprised Charles M. Shultz didn’t sue Tex Avery for using Snoopy as one of the dog’s names. His Snoopy from the Peanuts characters came out 13 years before this cartoon
He probably didn't care
3 years actually.
I really didn't expect a cat puppet that would come alive chasing a mouse 5:43
The Southern Wolf is one of favorite Tex Avery characters 🐺
Daws Butler as the wolf.
Avery's Wolf is one of my favorite characters!
You should try a Merrie Melodies short called "Feed the Kitty." It's an absolute classic and a favorite of mine where a bulldog brings home a kitten and tries to hide it from his mistress.
OMG, that was 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It's honestly one of the best shorts ever. It's sweet, adorable, sad and funny all in just 7 minutes.
You should see the one where Droopy is a sheep herder.
Yep Anika it was correct all along the metro Goldwyn Mayer Animation studios continued producing cartoons from 1954 to 1955 using Tex Avery then in Deputy Droopy he teamed up with Michael Lah who did story to codirect it it wasn't until 1956 when although Avery did direct the short Droopy Millionaire it was with Michael Lah at the helm when it was actually Bill Hanna and Joe Barbara ran the show that was until 1957 since people were watching television at this point the metro Goldwyn Mayer Animation studios closed down completely then they took most of the Tex Avery and Tom & Jerry tropes with them, and the slow-drawling, slow-whistling, underreacting wolf later became Huckleberry Hound… Warner Bros & Universal outlasted MGM itself till 1960's & 70's when WB closed down DFE came up and then WB restored the animation branch Universal's animation wing closed down completely until 2010's when Universal wanted to make cartoons again for new millennium.
Помню этот мультфильм на кассете📼
Однажды жили были три поросёнка... Ой ,три щенка.
Classic Droopy!! Thanks for making my day Inika!
Hmm, i am loving cartoons like this one. It's sad to see that the modern generation never saw Golden Age of cartoons and how lovely and interesting they were.
Droopy: Now don’t ask us how we got the television set back.
Me: Don’t worry, Droopy. I won’t.
Aww yes, the origin story of why obsidian is indestructible in Minecraft
I love how that Wolf whistles to it in every cartoons like this and others 3:15
I think there's a typo in the description... 1953 was 70 years ago. This short is still nicely 69 years old.
Perfect Shot Droopy 6:06
Hi Inika Chung you should play the Tom and Jerry episode Carmen Get It and then the Tom and Jerry episode Buddies Thicker Than Water.
Which just goes to show ya,never expect normalcy in a Tex Avery cartoon. And a future star was born in Huckleberry Hound(voice wise anyway)
OHHH MAN I really do miss that of how he be whistling to it 3:16
Hey Queen can you do Rock A Bye Brar
A Pest In The House with Daffy Duck
Or Baseball Bugs 🙏🏾❤😎
Meow, MAN!
3:16 Did Droopy _need_ to do that? The dynamite didn’t burst his door in, so that wolf would’ve failed anyway.
I agree with that 7:15
Meow MAEEN!
He sure is for a Wolf😂 3:00
Hi Inika 👋 from right below you in the USA. Have you seen, or do you have the Texas Avery, or Droopy Collection? Those are great, and uncut for collectors. Really look forward to your reactions to this and Three Stooges. Enjoy ❤
I haven’t seen any of the uncut collections of droopy but I will look into it 😊
Hey can you do the text every House Car & Farm of tomorrow 😎🙏🏾
And, for the mother-in-law...
🤣🤣🤣🤣SHEESH 5:09
Ya Think? He sounds that way too 3:00
😂😂😂😂 2:55
Same Here sweetheart 5:45
Well it didn't work you know what that means he's going television as a cowboy riding horse while shooting guns as well 7:24
There is an episode between this wolf and droopy that involves the wolf trying to kidnap some lamb for dinner while droopy guards them.
shit holds up lol i remember this on vhs
There's nothing and I mean nothing under God's full moon under God's hot sun that's more CUTE then you are❤❤❤❤ 7:40
Seriously?😂 3:08
Well, every Tex Avery cartoons mostly have blackface gag scenes, does it refer to African American people?
« You liked it ? »
Lmao
😂😂😂😂Jesus OMG 6:40
this makes me think of the book Black rednecks and White Liberals lol
