Intermittent fasting “can’t be good” for insulin resistance? Does this doctor even know what she’s talking about? Intermittent fasting has been shown to increase insulin sensitivity, thereby mitigating insulin resistance. She sounds like she’s just guessing, but there is actual research on this topic!
You can. You will always have PCOS but the idea is to find what balances your body and hormones and you will start having your cycles again. If you don’t have a cycle every month, you may have to take progesterone every month. But you don’t have to take the contraceptive. I take progesterone 14days out of the month to make sure my cycle comes because I have had heavy severe cycles without it. But for me, it’s lowering the amount of gluten, sugar, and dairy intake. Also exercising, and losing weight. That makes me balance. My trigger is weight gain. So just figure out how to care for your body. Think about losing weight if you are over weight, get good rest, change your your hygiene products to more clean formulas that are fragrance free. Eating organic. Stuff like that impacts your hormones.
@@curlygirl9023 I am allergic to gluten ... and have also have stopped eating sugar and packaged foods , exercise mostly everyday and try to eat healthy and my BMI is also normal ... but it sucks to be shoving pills in my system 😓 when I know it’s just covering up the symptoms instead of getting rid of the disease 🥺
@@navixo1056 yea I didn’t have symptoms until I actually took birth control and got off of it 😔... but you should talk to your doctor about treatment off of the pills. If your doctor doesn’t have a suggestion maybe try to see an endocrinologist bet specializes in women’s reproductive health. That’s who I see and they know much more about our hormones and can help much more than OBGYN
Don't take the pill for pcos, it makes things worse!!! Manage your insulin resistance. To help conceive have an ovarian wedge resection surgery performed by a trained Naprotechnology surgeon. Don't trust any doctors that tell you to just take the birth control pill until you want to have a baby, it will mess up your fertility!!!
You’re right, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
The moment she said “birth control gets to the root of the problems…”
I was done… ✌🏽
Thanks for saving me time! Not watching this

She lost me the moment she mentioned birth control pills
Can’t we get rid of it naturally without the contraceptive? I’ve been taking it for over a year and recently got to know about the side effects 😢
