    There's a mistake in the first calc of 3.1m. The second side bend was not added. It should be 3.3m instead.

    for footing(main bar in x direction)
    3000-2cover+300+300--2cover,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the L is provided on both side then why u r taking just 300 from one side only please guide me in tht n the same problem i found in other videos...

    don't you allow for overlaps in columns while calculating the length of the bars?

    the length of main bar in footing will be (3000-2*50+200*2)
    you have add only one side development length in main bar

    While calculating the length, it should be 2 * 300 mm because we have to consider both sides..

    In the footing there is 2 L shapes but u deduct the only one (300-2 side covers) then what about another side L

    during the turning of bar the length should be deducted by d or 2d depends upon the diameter of bar....
    if there are 2 turnings then 4d will be deducted

    sir hav one doubt when we deducting d covering of bottom bar ,do v need to deduct 2 covers na 3000 - (2x50) +[300 - (2x50)] + [300 - (2x50)] = 3300mm na ? sir pls advice me nd guide me in a proper way

    for the 2nd case u have taken 3000 for calculating the no of bars...but it should be 2500...we are calculating for the bar across y axis

    the length of bar is wrong
    for the 12#@250c/c bar, the length should be calculated by L= 3000-2*50+2(300-2*50)=3300mm= 3.3m, so correct this and the same case in the other direction
