Thanks for watching! I've actually been a subscriber of yours for a while and definitely got inspiration from you to dive into film emulation a few months back. I appreciate the kind words
Thanks for watching! For exposure, I really just try not to clip my highlights. I keep false color as one of my toggle options, and I try to make sure faces aren't too dark. That's really it-I like a grainy image so I don't care if exposure is spot on or not, and the 4K's sensor hasn't really rendered any shot unusable for me yet
I would say if you went for that 1980'ish old style, little over exposed colors camera look, then good job :) Never been there, would like to go some day.
Wonderful colors - brings me back to when I was in Lisbon just a few months ago. The BPCC4K and the Dehancer blend together so well. Great work managing the highlights on this! I make short films, recently filmed one about a young painter in Sweden, I’d really appreciate if you took a look Jason, thank you!
This is so wonderful - the music is so perfect. Love it so much. Did you have rigged anything up for this? The handheld feel is super nice. Thinking of picking up a 4K/6K but nervous about the jitters/shakiness for on the go setups.
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! I had a smallrig cage on for this, along with an npf battery plate to add a little weight. But the Canon 24-105 (oldest and also cheapest version) has image stabilization and it totally cuts down on microjitters. But honestly, I've shot the 4K completely stripped down using unstabilized vintage lenses, just holding it as stable as possible, and adding stabilization in premiere or resolve, and the results are good. I'm going to upload a video with that setup in the next few days. For future travel, I definitely want to prioritize having a smaller/lighter setup.
In Lisbon I had a full smallrig cage with an npf battery plate, but lately I've just been carrying a few lp-e6 batteries and keeping the setup very small. It works better for travel, and I can still shoot a couple hours of footage each day

What do you mean by Dehancer?
I would say if you went for that 1980'ish old style, little over exposed colors camera look, then good job :)

Looks great. What profile did you use in Dehancer?

good but film would be somewhat softer, I guess🤔
how to do this bro? please 😭😭😭
just a quick Q, what battery solution do you use?

@@jasonapearlman nice think im going to do the same, ive got the same setup u used here but its so damn bulky lol. Thanks! :)
Check BMPCC4k gyro stabilization :D
