Such a lovely talented lady. Somewhat under appreciated in my opinion but excellent in all of her roles. I was so shocked to see that she died a few months later! What a shame we lost her way too soon. 💔
My mother always loved Anne Baxter. We would watch Hotel together, if I remember correctly, as well as the Ten Commandments and All About Eve. I was rather saddened to hear of her passing at such a young age. I'm grateful we got to know her as a person through these recorded talk shows and from interviews and books about her life she wrote. Rest in peace!
Anne Baxter was marvelous in The Razor's Edge. No one could have played that part as well as she did. That performance stays in my heart. (Also loved her in The Magnificent Ambersons!)
What an excellent interview and audience-question segment. What a fabulous person Anne Baxter seems to have been! I've been thinking about her lately since enjoying her roles in two of her lesser known '50s films, Carnival Story and The Come-On. Her acting was bold, emotional, sensuous! Thanks for posting this.
She most likely was older. Actresses always shaved off 3-5 years of their actual age. I winked to myself when she said she was 13 on Broadway. Most likely 16. Anyway I loved her and always have. She was a magnificent character actress.
Hard to believe Anne Baxter would be dead within months of this interview. So full of life!
When was a kid watching the Ten Commandments with my parents, I fall in love with her acting skills and beauty. Thank you for posting.
My favorite actress forever will be ❤❤❤
Thanks 4 this interview I loved her in 10 commandments as a kid

She had such a presence to her...... full of energy, beautiful, articulate, funny, smart, and you can tell in her eyes she's a really sweet person.
I enjoyed seeing her in the ten commandments as Nefretiri. She was a great actress. RIP Anne Baxter
best role ever outside of EVE
She had the best voice in hollywood
One of Anne's final interviews. She passed away later that year, 1985. ❤😢

Very close to the time of her passing. She died in December of 1985 of a stroke while hailing a cab in NYC,

Thank you for this marvelous interview!
thank you for posting this.
My favorite actress❤
Anne Baxter has presence & character, she’s very sharp (of mind), comes across disarming, NOT a show-off
Such a beautiful woman love her
I am from South Bend Indiana
What a lovely lady .
HARD. TO. BELEIVE SHE. PASSED. NOT. LONG. AFTER. THIS.
I can't believe Nina Foch, the lady who played Bithiah, is actually younger than Anne Baxter (Nefretiri).
I liked Ann Baxter in "I Confess"with Montgomery Clift. 👏💓
Recommend her 1958 intense, suspenseful thriller-Chase a Crooked Shadow. :) 😀
It's nefretiri
What a gracious and intelligent person. She was speaking about understanding generational trauma before it became more well known.
thanks
I wonder how long after this interview she died? Classy lady.
The same year, I think she died in December
What did she think of George sanders.
She passed too young the same year.
She was 62 here? Her hairstyle and makeup make her look much older. She looks closer to 70. She has such a sultry voice, like Peggy Lee.

I thought she sounds like an English woman....
She has a Transatlantic accent. It was designed to be an upper class mix of English and American. The highly trained Golden Age film stars used it.
Boring
😮
Yes, you are. Extremely!
Wha='s wrong with you, are you mentally ill?
