this is crazy. how can people serve fast food in schools... straight up bs, the kids should be eating healthy food and learn basic nutrition facts and all of that stuff.

Look, I'll be honest, I agree with having all the nutritional information, but I'm not against serving greasy food if there's a salad and natural juice along with it.

Hi, I'm Brazilian! Lunches here in public schools are very simple! Normally rice, beans, meat and bread in some schools! Many don't even provide lunch! In private schools it's paid for and they're usually bakery snacks!

In the Philippines. Most schools always feed their students of any Age basic and healthy meals to prevent malnutrition. In Public School it was encouraged for the student to buy a simple and cheap cup of soup for poor student.
I like this one because it’s probably the most accurate compared to other 100 years of school food videos.

日本人です。1960年代のアメリカの給食が日本人が思う感じのアメリカンな感じでしたね。1970年代以降案外バランスが良くなっていっているようで面白いですね。

The problem lies when a 2l coke bottle + chips is a WAY cheaper meal for a whole family than like 2 pieces of vegetables alone. Many cannot afford much more than that and that should really make everyone think about it. SAVE AMERICA!!

De todas as escolas que estudei, não lembro de ter comido feijão, arroz e carne.
Mas as comidas sempre eram diferentes, tipo peixe frito com çaí, hot dog, suco ou nescau com bolacha ou biscoito, salsicha com macarrão, picadinho com arroz, chaque com arroz, mingau etc.
Top, lá as merendas são melhores, mas essas que vc disse não fiquem muito atrás
Cara, aqui a gente n precisa pagar por merenda, já tô feliz com isso já, o resto é história
Na minha como é uma das mais famosas da cidade, quase todo dia era arroz com feijão(arroz velho) e de em quando massa com guisado

Oi! Já estagiei na escola pública como professora e serve-se o lanche nas escolas de um turno e nonturnonintegral eles servem lanche e almoço.
O lanche é biscoito de trigo e suco natural, o almoço eles comem cozido de carne bovina com legumes + porção de arroz e sobremesa é biscoito maisena.

Hello I come from Vietnam. Lunch here is very diverse and rich in food. But in every meal there is always rice. Because rice is a popular food in Vietnam and Asian countries.
Vietnam is a very bad country because they eat people like dogs, cats, snakes and insects.
Rice is for Asia the same as wheat is for the Western countries.

My Opinion
1920: That looks amazing, I would love to have that as my school lunch. 8/10
1930: The food looks pretty good, I would probably eat that but that soup thing is a hell no it looks contaminated. 7.5/10
1940: The food looks pretty good too. But Mf that bread has cockroaches living in it. 7/10
1950: That food looks absolutely amazing. The meat looks freshly cooked and the shrimp looks nice. The brownie looks tasty and that yellow
crispy triangle thing looks tasty as well. 10/10
1960: Really? A Burger, fries with ketchup, a donut, AND Coca Cola? What do you expect? The only thing I can give this one is a 10/10
1970: Dayum bro, Mac n Cheese? And those vegetables actually look good. 8.5/10
1980: Those chicken tenders look crispy, and really good. Idk what that white stuff is but a pizza is an automatic 10/10
