Thank you for this video. Ive been feeling disappointed in some of my pieces because I have a little blow out and I’ve been going to very well known reputable artist. Thought it was them, but nah its just cuz i was a fat boy at one point and i got “weak ass skin” now. SMH. The body is so interesting.

Great channel. I like that you talk about tattoos and tattoo culture honestly rather than getting into gatekeeper mode.

Subscribed! Have a huge tattoo on my back I got years ago. Going to get it touched up to bring back more of the beauty. Fortunate to have a great tattoo artist.

Love this video. You should do one about tattooing over birthmarks or moles. Had a swordfish done on my arm and a mole caused a little part of the tattoo to blur.

Seconded! I am avoiding my shoulders so far because I have a lot of freckles and moles there, but it's a nice spot for a tattoo, so I have contemplating this question!

yeah i recently got my first inner-upper-arm tattoo and im fat so i have a lot of stretch marks and pretty thin skin there. my tattoo artist has done all of my previous tattoos so i know shes good but there are a few spots that are a bit blown out in the new one (around 5 months old now), and i figured thats what it was. now that ive heard you talk about it, i know thats what it is. i dont blame her whatsoever, and its not like it looks bad now. its just that you see a bit of that dark shadow next to some of the lines when you look closer, but its not bad. i designed it after a character i really really like and i still like it even though it doesnt look like it did on paper (or on my pc screen). its my body and it is what it is 🤗 honestly i just use my tattoos as like, diary entries about stuff that i like in the moment. ive always been a fandom-type of person so i have fan-tatoos, most that i designed myself, so im really not that bothered about a perfect execution or whatever. i love what it means, and the memories of nice, pleasant tattoo-sessions with my friend.

not had a tattoo blow out as in seep, had a couple of dodgy lines but never anything spread or give the bruised look, have had a fall out tho luckily no where near anything like that last one.

Most of my tattoos are traditional. I have a butterfly on the back of my hand that has some pretty heavy line work. It blew out. And I’m almost positive it’s because my skin is super thin there. It’s the only one I’ve noticed but I don’t have the inside of my arm tattooed and I expect it will probably happen when I do get it done. I can live with it.

My friend got a tribal and had the blue haze all around it was pretty bad. The artist did a design around it to help conceal the bruise looking haze. I have one under my boob that has a blue haze

For the tattoo fallout, did the client soak it in water or something?

  • @carrym123

Maybe the fallout tat artist accidentally used cosmetic ink (for makeup tattoos). I heard it’s supposed to fall out to look more natural. But I also don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about

I have minor blowouts on some of the line work on both my inner arms tattoos. I have a lot of stretch marks in there too, and I knew it was probably going to happen. Still like them. Stretch marks, soft skin, what you gonna do?

can a tattoo also blow out with age? The one tattoo I have that has blown out is on my ribcage and for the first year it was very crisp. Then it started slowly blowing out on the curve to my back and now it's almost the entire outline. I don't mind the look but it confused me a bit

I didn't start getting tattoos till my 40s, and my skin is already soft weak ass skin 😂
So my first tattoo has a little blowout, but it also the lines widened really quickly, so my tattoo has no details. I'm getting it lasered. 😅

I have two skulls on my outter upper chest and a cat with bat wings on my upper arm. On all three is some blowout. Maybe the artist was heavy handed or it was the type of machine, idk. But still love the tattoos.

Why tf would you want to slap your tattoos anyway?

    • @narwalace3823
      @narwalace3823 28 дней назад

If your tattoo gets itchy you arnt suppose to slap or pick at it/scabs because it can pull up more ink scratch it ect. So slapping or flicking it semi gently allows some relief
