IMSA Sportscars run at night in the rain during the 24hrs of Daytona. Just as fast racing among 4 different classes of cars going at different speeds. To slow the tremendous high speeds is why the Bus Stop chicane was installed. There is no reason NASCAR and NASCAR drivers can't do the same. Quite a few NASCAR drivers have raced in the 24 hours. They are or should be capable. The tire technology is available.

Then suddenly last year, on Formula 2, Anthoine Hubert died after a brutal accident. The car is "safe" but there's always gonna be that risk. It's never absolute.
I live in an area that gets rain about 250 days out of the year and driving in it is the norm. Watching this video has convinced me I could become a NASCAR champion very easily....as long as it rains every race.

Thing is it’s exaggerated in a stock car. They are harder to handle in the dry than a gt car and definitely aren’t made to do it in rain. Heavy and won’t brake at best if times. With small tires. Without pushing it to brink of to far they be going about 10 mile an hour lol. Late model I had just pacing when it started to rain was tough enough lol

Nascar make rain tires already so rain delays aren't as much of a problem anymore every other race series that isn't drag racing does it also you guys already have a dirt tire for the truck series.
