The shot seen from 5:57 to 6:02 somehow seems to be somewhat familiar to me! I must've seen this movie on TV before sometime in the mid-1990s!!! I really can't be sure if it was this movie or not, but I happen to have an extremely vague memory of seeing a clip from a movie with a shot VERY SIMILAR to the one seen here! Honestly, I'm not sure if what I'm remembering is actually from this movie or from a different movie or something. I was also thinking of the Disney Herbie movies sometimes, but I can't really be sure, as it was a really long time ago. One thing I can say for sure is that this particular movie seemed to spark my memory a bit.
The rod eulenfeld flip (the yellow 71 car flips well in the fireball 500 version he is still alive and in the real on but in red line 7000,the driver dies.
The rebel rag is a loser rag because the south lost the civil war. Imagine still crying over some redneck rag being banned. Get over it🤷🏻♂️🇺🇸 The REAL Flag is the American flag. Wave the American flag like you’re a true American!👊🏼🇺🇸 America #1, baby! This is the United States of America, not The Confederate States of America🤭 PS, if you’re crying over the rag being banned, then you’re not a real racing fan

Did you notice Petty's car turned into a Chevy?
Love how Petty's car changed into a 62 Chevrolet
hes so fast, thats why he got those 200 wins
I once saw an episode of CHIP'S in which they were towing Petty's 73 Dodge between races but the race footage was of his 67 Plymouth!
I noticed that
When
00:11 nice racing loafers 👞

The track announcer for the Darlington race looks like Fireball Roberts !
Cool footage of actual races but poor editing. When Mars passes Petty at 6:00, Petty's Mopar mysteriously turns into a Chevy.
Petty looks like he is taking a Sunday drive
That crewman cleaning the windshield on car 27 looked like Joe Peschi!!!

REAL CARS, Nothing like the LEGGO MONSTROCITES of today! Gee wonder why this sport is dying?
Back in the days when stock car racing was done with REAL STOCK CARS and not the crap they use now.
Car 47 spun out so hard it must have entered some sort of time vortex to go from a 1964 ford into a1962 pontiac catilina!!

I'm 25 and these days of racing are fascinating to me....looks about as safe as knowing incriminating information about Hillary Clinton LOL.
I love the rebel flag at the end. This is way before the cancel culture bullshit...
