Bless his heart. It's so obvious how much he loves her , I know that feeling well , and my heart goes out to him !! I just watched Waylon on "it came from Nashville " I was amazed to learn he did her make-up for her funeral services . WOW !!! What a strong person !! I loved him before !! now I am just so amazed by him!! It had to be hard but she wanted it . And , well , Momma gets what momma wants right .

Absolutely beautiful.Sammi was still is a favorite. I didn't know about her son until today.wow.they blend so well.I read where she and waylon Jennings were close friends.and he is her son's God father. And named after him.awrsomr.l am wondering if anyone know's of Sammi and waylon Jennings recorded any duets together.RIP Sammi and Waylon Jennings
Thank you Waylon Payne & Momma.
This will sound crazy, but I firmly believe this performance is, in its own small way, one the peaks of human culture, right up there with The Parthenon and Chartres and The Taj Mahal and Ellington Live At Newport and The Maids of Honor and Crime and Punishment
What a shame we can't hear any new songs from her.
