Considering that "pit stop" scene from the first scene, he is even faster than the race cars and probably the only reason he doesn't race as well is because that would be unfair for the race cars.
Since Guido dreamed to be part of the pit crew of a racing team, once Lightning McQueen have a race in Los Angeles for a tiebreaker race with Chick Hicks and Strip Weathers aka the King, once McQueen's former pit crew quit, some residents of Radiator Springs became pit crew members and even Luigi and Guido and Guido's dream to be a member of a racing pit crew came true, and I like his quick talented tire switching performance that shocked everyone, especially Chick's pit crew as they had their mustaches dropped themselves. There is a deleted scene or extra on the first movie's dvd that goes into how they met. Flo was a Motorama show car/showgirl which implies she's a GM branded car since that was a GM concept car show that started in 1949. Bascially the truck they're on stops in Radiator Springs and she falls in love with Ramone. She's a 1957 Motorama show car. Hence why her plate also reads *Sho Girl* *' Flo first arrived in Radiator Springs as a touring Motorama girl. She was headed west with a transport of models, when her chaperone blew her transmission just outside of town. Flo and the other Motorama girls spent an unforgettable weekend in Radiator Springs; new tires from Luigi, souvenirs from Lizzy and a new paint job from Ramone. But when it came time to paint Flo, Ramone threw down his airbrush. Not because he was too good to paint her, but because she was too good to paint. The next day when the girls left, Flo stayed. it’s live, yes, and i’m assuming around the same age as regular humans maybe? doc hudson’s voice seemed to imply he was made around the same time that the hudson hornet was made in real life, and he passed away not long after cars 1, so maybe you can get the age from that.

Of course they aren't a couple , they friends
