Amazing that this would even need to be said, but here we are.
But it's not so easy either. I guess the main problem in this conversation lays in the difference between opposing the policies of a State or denouncing its crimes and aiming at the distruction of that state, or supporting those who actively aim at this goal.
Antizionism has historically given room to antisemitism in a more acceptable form, and sometimes is not even clear what antizionism actually means and what a Zionist is: is it someone who supports Netanhyahu? The ultra nationalists? Someone who support the existence of the State of Israel even if they don't agree with the slaughter of palestinians and the unjust policies? ANY Jew who doesn't overtly disassociate themselves from Israel as a place? Any Jew at all? I've seen demonstrations where the slogan "two peoples two states" was chanted being confronted and opposed to as "zionist" (for it was implied that eventually a Jewish State was supposed to still exist, side by side to a Palestinian one).
So i guess the real deal with antisemitism lays in this ambiguity about who is a zionist or perceived as such (which I also think is the easiest explanation to why antisemitic attacks always rise during times when Israel is at the centre of the debate). After all, the "antizionist" narrative has often been a cover up for right-wing militants to spread anti-jews hatred without being too obvious. The problem is: how to remain vigilant during a time when people like Netanhyahu actively pollute the discourse about antisemitism by calling every critique to Israel antisemitic? How to prevent the (sometimes) ambiguous antizionist protests from becoming places where antisemitic accidents happen? I think that actively listen to the Jewish communities, especially those who are against thie israeli governement, and their concerns, might help

Israel has killed 35-40k soldiers and civilians in 7 months with modern technology and all those people in an area about 12x20 miles. Germany killed over half a million Jews in that period of time with 1940s technology. No assault rifles, no missiles, no jets, no laser guided bombs, no gps, no satellites, no drones that can loiter for 12 hours at a time. Just trains gas and bolt action rifles. While waging a war on 2 fronts where depending on the time period they could have killed another million. And the Jews were spread out over central and Eastern Europe. But the intent of Israel is genocide. Right. If it were genocide there wouldn’t be any Palestinians left at this point. The reason the civilian death rate is so high is because the Palestinians do absolutely nothing to protect their citizens. The soldiers hide in tunnels under their citizens. That’s sub human behavior. There’s no way in hell I’m hiding in a tunnel and using my son as a human shield. But that’s standard practice for the Palestinians.

Then the question of Israel as a colony of a European religious faction must be addressed. Why is U.S taxpayer money going to a country or colony that was intended to displace indigenous populations? Neither question is anti Semitic. Many other questions about why mostly Eastern Europeans are in the middle east in the first place must be answered.
The reality is that the US needs a stable democracy in the Middle East. This is old news. A better question is why are so many Muslims going to the UK? You could say it's for a better life, but too many constantly complain about the way women dress, and gay people. The idea that you want to turn a host country, that's better than the one you came from, into where you came from is maximum hubris.
