Hi everyone! Here's my Inktober 2018 sketchbook tour! Really happy to say that I completed the challenge for the third year in a row! It was a difficult challenge, but I definitely feel like it pushed me to learn some new drawing techniques that I can apply to my future work. Be sure to let me know what you think of my Inktober drawings! And also let me know if you also took part in the challenge.

I didn't take part in inktober but I did use a glass dip pen for the first time and I boardcast the full video, well 3 parts as a career I had to drop the drawing a few times

NaH 2 days is enough, i do kinda large artwork #size A2 and it takes me abouT 3-4 days to complete.
Hi Chris, I enjoyed "looking" through your Inktober sketchbook. You did some awesome drawings during the challenge. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but I did like how the crow/snail turned out and the little mouse sleeping on the mushroom. The Evil pumpkin is great too, but as you had a video on that one I had a "oh, I remember that one" reaction. Thanks for sharing. Amazing you had time to create all of these drawings and still post some great art for your channel! Brenda

I've been following your Inktober drawings on Instagram every day, but I really enjoyed seeing the collection all at once. They were all great. My favorites were the chicken and the star one, where Charlie's dear brother was looking out in the stars for him. I'm sure you all miss Charlie very much. You did a great job with Inktober, Chris. Thanks for sharing the collection with us, along with your thoughts about each. I enjoyed it.
I find your heavy use of white ink or pencil in your work intriguing and beautiful, your art style has a lot of finesse and grace. Amazing
I loved the creative variety exhibited inside your sketchbook. It was a real page-turner where I couldn’t wait to see how you interpreted the next prompt.
My favorite is the frog, but all around I just love the way you do highlights it makes everything so bold and makes a really strong impression with every piece.

I really like the whole sketchbook but for me personally that little mouse was something special. I really really love that one.
The one with the kitty looking off into the stars mourning his brother is so emotional.

this is the first time I watched an inktober series and had you say how much you loved how your drawings turned out. You even wanted to give some of your pictures another go with a bigger paper. I liked every picture and it really shows that you like those drawings too. Much more then your previous two years doing inktober.

I really hated my sketchbook but took it into school and I was drawing in art club. My favourite teacher (she’s an art teacher btw) came up to me and looked through it and she said my drawings were gorgeous and it really motivated me and made me want to start drawing a lot more. You are also one of the reasons I love drawing, you are so good and I don’t come anywhere near how amazing you are!😫💓

My favorite two drawings were the clock and double moons, but all of them were truly remarkable. You are very inspiring.
I'm being completely honest when I say this- This is the best inktober "tour" I have seen this year. Your style and highlight choices are absolutely amazing. I did the same thing for angular and swollen so I thought that was funny! Your drawings are where I'm trying to be. You did an incredible job and you have amazing talent!
OK, I only watched until minute 5, but I just had to pause it for commenting. This is the first video I see from you and I am absolutely amazed by your art style. I totally love how sleek jet very shiny with the soft dark shadows and the bright white edges all of this pieces look. I don't know whether it was for purpose, but I love those patterns that come up in the Sketchbook, like how the first three scenes somehow seem tot ell a story of a frog sitting near the lake and then someone roasting it's marshmallow just nearby, since you can see "the same" wood in the background. Then after that the marshmallow texture appearing on the chicken and so on... Not to mention how awesome you use key colours in the pieces, jet again so beautifully shaded.
I am by no means an art expert and can't draw at all on my own, so I don't know how much you care for such comments. But I just felt that I really had to express all those impressions your video gave it just until know, 4:46. Thank you!

You'd be a wonderful drawer for book illustrations. If I'd ever write a book, I'd choose just you. Wonderful idyllic pictures. Especially the drawings with the moon.

Looks great :D I especially like the sharp contrast on the cat looking up at the star. Maybe I will give the whole Inktober thing a try next year. One of the cool things about your double moon picture is the way that the details are all in the distance, which creates a fun dynamic. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the awesome work!

I tried Inktober for the first time this year. I only got to day 18 but I'm still proud and I've grown as an artist. But here's something funny: I also drew a roasted marshmallow on a stick, only I had flames instead of smoke. I also drew a creepy grandfather's clock, only I included a cat, a ghost and a little reaper. But the weirdest thing is that I also drew a puffer fish on "Swollen". I did end up just drawing a bottle on "Bottle", but on my thumbnail I drew a ship in a bottle 😄 You're one of my favorite artists on RUclips and I think it's cool that we did similar drawings. Mine isn't nearly as good though!
This is amazing! I found out about Inktober by watching your drawings from last year and decided to try it myself. And am super happy I succeeded. My favorite one was "angular"

Easily one of the best sketchbooks I have ever seen. I just purchased my first gray-scale toned paper SketchBook and you have given me a lot of really good ideas. You should be a professional illustrator if you're not there is something wrong

I just have to say that your Inktober sketchbooks are my one of my big favourites from you. I really got teary eyed over the cat drawing youve done. I also had recently lost my cat of 9 years. Its truely hard to loose a loving pet, and I understand the struggle. Your art is just beautiful in everything you do, from concepts to shading to highlighting, EVERYTHING! I just wanted to say im so proud of you for coming this far on your art journey. I hope to see you grow more and more in the future
