The pack is great! Everything about it. Ive been using an Alice pack that I modified with my own modular system for 35 years. The "little things" are of no concern. It's the only framed pack for photography on the market. Mine is the 50L model, and I could not be more pleased.

I bought the OneMo FPV bag and it's dope. Love using it daily. I'm still rocking my Atlas Pack Athlete from like 6 years ago and I love it. This is technical and would be nice to also own. I owned the Peak Design 40L travel backpack but sold it due to useless back straps that hurt like hell.

As a OneMo owner, I really appreciate PGYTech's attention to detail, construction quality etc. Unremovable hip belt is a deal breaker for me personally. If they took the OneMo v2, made the Top Access Larger, added the Camera Cubes (and new colors!), I would have been more apt to buy this. The back mesh is perfect... my favorite day-pack is an old Eddie Bauer from 2002 that has the same lifted mesh backing. I may have to just build my own lol. If I could combine PGYTech, Tenba, and a couple others, I'd have my favorite bag! :D. Thanks Dunna!

Might wanna check out shimoda's backpacks. they are what you described but better and with a removable hip belt.

@@XavierBaker Thanks. They are well built, I did own the v.2. Did not like the lost storage space with the mesh bottle pockets stowed. I personally need better top access. Looking forward to see what v.3 brings :).

Great review, love how much detail you went into with all of this. I still love my DB Journey backpack because it looks a little more sleek for daily use, but this looks awesome for longer adventures & hikes!

Have the PGYTECH OneMo original and it is a by far the nicest bag I've owned. I can definitely relate to having that cooling mesh on your back though as I do sweat if it's hot at all and I have it on for any period of time. I like that camera cube too, similar to the oneMo but a lot larger. Nice to see them continuing to innovate. Do you know what the pricing will be? Maybe I missed it... Thanks for sharing! 🤙🤙

It extremely hard to build a framed hiking backpack for both photography & camping, multi day journeying, I think the One Pro Flex does this well.\. The One Pro Focus is your more traditional photography only backpack while the Pro Flex is meant for also hiking with clothing, a tent or fly & sleeping gear, food etc. The modular camera cubes being in XS, S, M & L accommodate differing gear volumes & needs really well. If you are carrying landscape & wildlife photography gear plus a small drone this is an ideal option. I have the Lowpro Fastpack Pro BP 250 AW III backpack & its a great pack for day trips with gear & clothing/food etc but not having a frame is hot, sweaty & heavy on your back on extended hikes, hence why I did the kickstarter, the bag arrived today so Im really looking forward to giving it a test out soon. The camera front loader adds additional storage on the chest front or as a separate carry bag as well when you want to do a short walk without this bag. Overall I think they did a great bag. I agree with some of your points & preferences, but can see why Pgytech chose what they chose in this design. Buckles etc can be changed and straps that are attached can be modified to make them removable if the aesthetics are that big an issue. The camera cubes also make great removable options depending upon your various photo needs. I may purchase a second Medium & maybe a small for astro & macro photography as the gear is not what I carry for landscapes & wildlife/bird shooting.

I want to love this bag but the lack of room for clothes makes this a no go for me. Im looking for a bag for international travel and this wont work. also wish the front pocket was a little better for organization. and possibly another pocket or 2. However, this bag looks thought through and interesting, Just not sure itll be a great bag for travel. Any thoughts?

I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the luxrul leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.

They have a 2L water bladder compartment on the side pocket area. Could also technically use the laptop compartment for water bladder stowing and not fully zip up.

The best photography back I've ever had is my current one, and it's not a photography backpack at all. It is a proper hiking backpack, and then I have a camera cube to go in it.

Agree. Buy the best hiking backpack for you (so with attachment points for sleeping bag, mat, tarp, molle or other expansion system, rolltop, the like) and plug a camera cube in. The only downside - no side access, potentially more problematic tripod handling/mount points.

Looks like they stole the breathable back idea from the Osprey Stratos hiking pack. Which I use as my main photography bag as well with an insert. Haven’t found a camera bag that’s comfortable as my Stratos.
