    indeed this is the first comparison video for these 2 very similar bags. thanks!

    Really enjoyed your take on these two bags. Thank you so much!
    One thing that I'm not sure you covered is the weight of the bags.
    Wandrd PRVKE 21: 2.8 lbs
    Besnfoto Roll top: 4.3 lbs
    That's a difference of 24 ounces or 1.5 lbs. and that's important to me.

    • @csnyderphoto
      @csnyderphoto  Год назад +6

      Good catch! I did forget to mention the weight, but the 2.8 lbs of the WANDRD is without the cube. With the bundle you're looking at 3.6 lbs. Yes, still lighter, but now only a difference of 11.2 ounces, or .7 lbs.
      Of course, only you can decide if 11 ounces is worth the price. For me, it just isn't.

    • @coleplacemb
      @coleplacemb Год назад +1

      @@csnyderphoto No, 11 ounces wouldn't be worth the price for me either.

    Great comparison video! The only issue is I haven’t seen anything covered depth wise. It’s really nice to be able to stand up lenses in the bag sometimes and I feel like these days they went all too thin for that now.

    • @csnyderphoto
      @csnyderphoto  9 месяцев назад

      I completely agree that it's preferable to stand your lenses up! As for depth, that's of course dependent on the length of your glass. True to my word, I did send back the Wandrd, but according to their website the internal cube is just 4". The Besnfoto I just measured at 4.75", and with how both are designed, you really can't go more than what they specify, especially if you want to use the pockets on the flap.

    the Besnfoto has another model with a slight variation that has a camera cube. looks identical but however that one doesnt open fully to access to the back. just a side slot to slidein a laptop. I live in China so that model may not be available internationaly

    Hi Chris.
    Love the comparison you made.
    But you have forgotten one of the great advantages of besnfoto ther is a zipper with direct access to the top compartment so you don't have to open the rolltop every time.

  • @martinruiz398

    Thanks for the video, I ended up buying the Besnfoto and I love it. The contrast interior is much better for not loosing stuff, and the quick access zipper to the top portion from the outside is a game changer.

    I also immediately looked at the chest strap clip on on the Wandrd bag and said to the sales rep at the camera shop "So this is definitely going to break eventually, right?"

  • @baybayonsincanada4474
    @baybayonsincanada4474 Год назад +3

    What dropped the bomb with the Wandrd Prkve 21L is the camera cube. That thing is horrendous! It made the space too tight and unwieldy, that unless you're using very few camera gear, it's pretty much useless for its size.
    Wandrd should have made the camera portion same as the Lite.
    I bought the 31L but that is now too big for a personal item bag.

    Aw sweet! I was looking at the more expensive bag on Amazon and looked for cheaper alternatives, as I liked the style. Found the Besnfoto and was looking for a comparison of the two, lo and behold, I found it! Great informative video, you helped me out! Will definitely be purchasing a Besnfoto for my DJI Air 2S drone for the waterproofing, roominess, and bag design for the go and all the elements.

    Campagnon..... Yes the German one promoted by the Iceland Guy is by far away the best best backpack you can buy. It is really really good. I own one and yes I was probably lulled in by the advertising but it's brilliant.

    • @csnyderphoto

      Yes, you can! All dividers can be removed and the separation between the top and bottom can be lowered to use as one large pack!.

    • @csnyderphoto

      @@anmstudio With this Wandrd, the photography portion comes out as one piece (advantage of an ICU), whereas the Besnfoto has to have each divider removed separately, but it can still be removed entirely.

  • @musiqueer

    Well made comparison, but for me it comes down to durability, warranty and originality vs. copying. While Besnfoto does mention 24-month warranty, I'd rather pay extra for knowing a company is standing behind their product and knowing that if something does break, it can be fixed. I haven't seen the Besnfoto in person but from the videos, it looks like the material and zippers are not up to the Wandrd quality. It's also clear Besnfoto is copying designs from companies like Wandrd and Peak Design. That's something I despise and think especially people working in creative industries should understand to be unacceptable. Is the Prvke overpriced? Maybe, but there are cheaper options that are not blatant copies. Or get one from their sale. I paid something around $350 for a Peak Design bag in 2017 and it lasted almost daily use for some 6 years before zippers and some weather-proofing started to decay, but with lifetime warranty I can get a refurbished replacement. For that, I think the price was more than ok, and even though it was a lot of money for me back then, I never regretted the purchase. I recently bought a Wandrd Prvke as I wanted to have a bigger backpack in different design.

  • @8_Bit_Explorer
    @8_Bit_Explorer 11 месяцев назад +12

    I have both. I got the cheaper bag first. The Wandrd is worth the extra money. The Bensfoto has thin straps and poor load capability. I use this bag to cary a fujifilm XT-5 mirrorless body, a tripod, a Tamron 150-500, a fuji 16-55, and maybe a prime lens and water and a snack for my hikes. One hour in and my back and shoulders are killing me with the Bensfoto. The shoulder straps are ripping from the weight. I have hiked all day with the Wandrd and felt totally fine (must use hip belts).

      I have the og prvke 31l liter for full frame and drone but Im looking at the prvke lite for a aps-c setup. Specifically will wait for xt6 later this year. Wonder if you think the 21l is too big or just right for your fuji gear? Or would think the prvke lite will fit your gear no problem?

    • @8_Bit_Explorer
      @8_Bit_Explorer 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@johnnypsepulveda I do a lot of wildlife so I carry chunky lenses. I use the 31 and it is the right size for me. I fill the bottom half of the wandrd pro camera insert and have a lens in the top -also carry snacks, jacket, etc in the top. I think the 21L will work if you carry smaller lenses. You can prob fin 35mm, 16-55mm, and 50-140mm in the 21L
