Simple and sweet... I am still using a Dillon 450Jr ( bought at around 1987 and still running ) .. for .38, .357 and .45ACP... Dillon the best value out there,,, now am considering the 550 for 7.62x39 and 5.56... Thanks for posting
Good job. I have just re-unboxed a 550B that I've had in storage for over 20 years. I was feeling a little intimidated about getting started again but after your video I'm ready to make some ammo. Thanks
Excellent video - very informative. This assisted me with setting up my first rig - as stated below - with no bs. Thank you for taking the time to put this together for us.
Thank you so much for not saying ummm ummmm and moving your camera out of focus and aiming the camera at the floor etc. etc..... Great video, very to the point and informative. I appreciate it.
Best video out there on the 550B. Thank you for making it. As some others have stated as well, I would encourage you to make other reloading videos, including the die setup.
Very good video!! Well lit and the work area is clean. You can see the entire process without having to look at a bench piled high with stuff. Keep up the good work.
You are welcome. I hope this made setup a little easier. This was my first try at reloading and this machine made me feel quite comfortable with it. Great machine. Good luck.
great video, very informative. I volunteered to help some one to help set this up tomorrow. I'm only used to Lee single stage presses. your video will help tremendously.
Thank You, I appreciate the video. My only "issue" would be that next time make sure your License plate is not visible. That could get you some unwanted attention. Thanks again and stay safe!
I'm building a reloading bench right for my 550, and was wondering if you have run into any issues with using the C-Clamp to hold the press to your bench instead of mounting it directly.
Thanks supervetteC6. Thought I was going to make the perfect video. After many retakes and edits this is what I came up with. Fairly happy for my first video but a long way from perfect.
So....how do I get a .308 case dislodged from the depriming / priming die?!? My kids got into the garage and accidentally pulled the lever.... Good thing I was out of powder.....but holy shit that .308 brass is stuck in that die really good!!!! Any suggestions besides to spend some more $$$ to get another die?

Well produced and informative, one of the best tutorials I have watched on RUclips.
Great video. Thank you for posting. Got the workbench built today. I'll be setting up the 550B after work tomorrow.

+William Osborne The Dillon 550B is a wonderful machine. It is quite easy to set up and use. I'm sure it will be easier then you thought. Good luck.
One of the best 550 setup videos I've seen. I will be sure to reference it when mine arrives. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I'm subscribed.

Fantastic demonstration the best one I ever seen.
Thanks for making that video big bear, I'm just getting started into reloading and it helped a great deal.

Enjoyed your video. I would encourage you to make more. Looking forward to your reloading die setup.
Nicely done! This will be very helpful as I'm about to bite the bullet, pun intended, on a 550b. Happy reloading!
Pretty good for a "first time" video.
Well done! So much better than the "other guys" that make videos on this subject.
I'm building a reloading bench right for my 550, and was wondering if you have run into any issues with using the C-Clamp to hold the press to your bench instead of mounting it directly.

This is a superb video big bear. You remind me of my father if he were to make a video except he isn't too much into technology. Lol
Yes, very good - thank you
Yes you did make a superior video.
I'm going to use this video as reference when I setup my 550b I'm expecting it within the next few days. Screw the manual....lol
How much did that cost you for everything?
great video as stated below

Im not sure but it sounds like it's time to get out the screw driver and pliers. I think it will just take time and patience.
As I am reboxing my dillon 550 b I was hoping to see how everything fit in the box. I cant figure out where the actuator lever goes.
Sorry but it's been so long since I unboxed mine that I can't remember.
excellent video. thank you.
Great video! Also, you sound like Mike from Breaking Bad (one of my favorite characters)
That's exactly what I thought
Great tutorial, please consider a die setup vid too
Enjoyed, thanks!
Great video, thank you!
Excellent video, thank you!
Excelent. Very didactical. Why, the heck, do I need a manual for? Regards from a brazilian shooter.
You remind me of Mike Ehermantraut from breaking bad

The installation of the powder assembly and adjustments are amiss....
Good vid you only skipped a few steps lol
