I believe at night when the water is clear, the visibility is better but the darkness hides the rigs. If it were in the day and clear, the rigs stand out alot more, if it were murky and sunny, I think they would see the silhouette and definitely scent it out. Does that make sense? It's hard to word 🤣

i use a sidewinder knife and it comes with a sharpener in the pack so when blunt you can sharpen it and it'll be like brand new

I do every now and then, not had much success yet.
Whiting best livebait for bass in my opinion I use them year round and had hundreds on them.

Thanks buddy, llandudno is an ace place to fish. It must be the mixed ground we fish over offering alot of bait etc for the fish.
