Hi John, it's great to see you on llanddona. I was there camping for the first 2 weeks of august. When the fishing there is good it's good! When it's crap it really is!. The first week was crap weather with relatively calm weather wind wise. Me and my lad had 4 bass 4 smooth hounds and more doggies than you can count but it was great for him as he was catching. Second week we had almost nothing!. Try fishing there on a big tide 2 hours either side of high water ideally on a night tide and fish that first gulley off the rocks!
Guy to the right here... nice meeting you, went quiet after you left only one more knock, no fish. Back on Mondays tide for 8 smoothies and a couple of dogs off the rocky end of the beach fresh dug rag or lug 👍

Love this kind of fishing my son is only 3 but has the bug already for fishing hopefully in the years to come he will get better than me got to say though not done much this year but all my son keeps saying he’s wants to catch smooth hound or baby shark to him made my day watching this video thanks for the smiles 😊

Great bit of social fishing time with the lad there mate. Being an angler with a son of a similar age, I can completely relate. Nothing better than a bit of quality time with the boy, Brilliant stuff mate!
John I fished it with live softy’s and spoke to a local digging the lug and he said it’s a worm beach we didn’t have a bite and I’ve been catching smoothies on about 4 rag on the hook.
Brilliant stuff, and as you say, it was great quality father & son time, and the little fella's excitement was there about being out on the coast with his dad. Nice looking safety vests too...! A quick question John, will you be doing any more catapult videos?
