I live in N. Wales and a lure fisherman. You should try fishing at night (lure and fly), it'll boost your chances. Peace 👊

Totally agree, I'm in south Wales, but the couple of hours either side of midnight have always been most productive.
I fish lure and fly, not sure I have a favourite, love them both. But you need to be on top of your fly cast in the dark.
