Always amazes me how few fish are moving about on these legendary scottish rivers. Youd see more jumping on the Yorkshire Ouse/ure in spring.

To be fair pal a lot of the time fresh fish don’t ump as much as fish that have been in the river a while . I’ve been on the Dee in September and there fish jumping everywhere but hooking them is a different thing 😂
      Thanks for watching .

Fresh ones show on my river esp after April. Sometimes see em boshing their way up the tidal. And higher up when temporarily settled in lies though rarely in the shallow middle river. And almost rarely in middle river in running conditions.
I agree the kippers upstream bosh about on the deeper holding pools. Our run dies off in mid June so don't see many brown uns on my stretches cos I don't go kipper bash8ng lol.

Looks a lovely beat shame the fish a bit thin on the ground this year on the Dee. I would maybe try mounting your camera on your chest rather than head it keeps it more stable just a thought 🙂

Yeah I’ve tried that pal but it annoys me and sometimes you end up covering the lens with your arms or coat lol😂
Might try it again tho .
      Thanks for watching.
