- Well they certainly did better than previous high school groups by making it this far but the competition was overall weaker than previous seasons..I do think they performed well but it may not have been the type of song that would get them noticed in the end..but at least they choose songs that are not just one genre. B

Best performance of the night.
Even tho I LOVE LUV LOVE Home Free, and have from the first moment, I also have to say that this was my favourite performance of the night, tho comparing the two is like oranges and apples. I still loved HF and they did an awesome job on their song, and all their other songs. I honestly believe, and I’ve stated this somewhere before, that no matter how good any of the large member groups could have been, I don’t think the judges would ever pick one to win. Winners either had 5 or 6 members. I wish I had seen this live so I didn’t know who won until the end, but alas, I didn’t, but HF is my favourite of all winners, ousting PTX.

I agree on you with that, mrduckbear. I love sing-off and VERY GLAD it's back on again. Love all the judges and the new addition Jewel. They are SUPEEER funny. Love it all but I think the competition has been less.. I guess you can say weaker? than the previous seasons. Maybe since Season 3 had way more episodes while 4 is being cut short (for the holidays) and is being broadcast everyday. So I guess the groups don't improve as MUCH as they could, there are still some tinks. I mean, don't get me wrong. They improve big-time and are wonderful but I suppose there's not enough time for them to be PERFECT PERFECT. Like Penatonix, they had some downs but they were like the BOMB. They got it all good. They are very creative. I only seen them, by far, actually arrange the song and take risks, being creative, and have tricks up their sleeve. But now, all I see is the groups just singing, which for a fact is very excellent. But I guess not all groups are the same.. Hopefully in the future, there'll be groups that play around with the song and try new things and surprise us and hopefully the competition gets much intense. Always love Sing-Off and Acoustic. Good job!
It feels like their pool of talented musicians to draw from is getting smaller and smaller...maybe wait a few years for the next season? The collegiate acapella groups this season were easily the weakest of any season in Sing-Off history. Element was basically discount Delilah. I mean, I guess you can't really expect another runaway superstar hit like Pentatonix, but the talent pool this year just seems really small.
DBIYBIMWBIU I 100% agree with the Element comment!! Delilah was amazing and i tended to only get half way though Element's performances before i was bored which was soooo disappointing.
I do think there were a few stand out groups though. I quite enjoy Vocal Rush and TEN.

I honestly would love to hear them do a whole Fallout Boy album. I think they could really own it if they weren't dancing and jumping.

I just really wish this group had a few more guys so their middle was was a bit more solid. But they really so some very cool things. Except never insert rap verses into rock songs...
Tfw Fall Out Boy literally did an entire album inserting rap into rock songs.

Hello from the future!!! I think I detect a bit of pain (which the judges did not pick up on). Jewel's ability to technically analyze the music continues to astound . Be kind to one another.
They should've gotten 2nd place.
