E6000 holds a very strong bond, it is extremely stretchy, when attempting remove it. It can be sliced with a hobby knife. T7000 dries hard, like a plastic and asphalt and plastic had a baby. Full curing time can be over 48-hours. It won't shatter, like an acrylic adhesive, but is on the hard, side, will chip, and crack if removing.
I’m in the same boat, been out of the hobby for 3+ years but I’m getting back into, building this exact build x4, ordered frames and motors in bulk on Black Friday and just got my hdzero gear including goggles as well, spent a lot but also saved a lot lol, just waiting for the slim esc to be in stock, good vid!
@donnygfpv7548 ive ripped off the ulf using the liquid electrical before. I really like the b7000 as twists off pretty easy. NMGrower showed me that stuff. Have fun with the builds! You're gonna love them.
Hello! Thank you very much for uploading the video, it was very helpful since I have exactly the same components. Could you please share the STL for the ELRS receiver?
Thanks for sharing your build. I just finished building my first 5 inch racing quad this week. I used Limon's open racer frame and an HDZero race v3. The build went pretty smooth but when I flew it I found some weird bugs I gotta chase down. I don't know if they are related or not but when I fly it the quad keeps trying to slowly pitch back to level and roll slightly to the right so I have to constantly compensate a little with the right stick just a little bit to keep it pitched forward and flying straight. The other issue is the link quality says zero and RSSI DBM is -130 in the OSD but I'm not getting any failsafes. I've checked everything I know to check and watched a bunch of videos and I am stumped. The only thing I haven't tried yet is mess with the ESC settings in BLHeli. I have the ELRS module between the two carbon plates in the front because it's the only place I had room to stick it.
The quad slightly rolling issue is odd. Does this happen in acro mode? For the -130db, that is the lowest it goes. So I would use LQ instead and see what that says. Also i recommend using some vhb tape and put the elrs chip on the inside of the nylon canopy. Those ceramic antennas really will degrade signal if sandwitched between carbon I assume. Also try and use the elrs preset to match what mode you're using (250hz vs 500hz vs 1000hz)
@@TbellFPV The LQ says 0 for both numbers. I'm using an EP1 style receiver with a T antenna zip tied to an arm. The roll/pitch issue is in acro mode. I even tried turning off the accelerametor but it still does it. I'm wondering if that is a gyro issue or maybe one of the motors de-syncing or something since I haven't messed with the ESC settings yet. It was worse but seemed to get better when I lowered the PID loop frequency for some reason. Unfortunately now that there's snow everywhere I'll probably have to wait till spring to get it figured out.
@@TbellFPV The FC is a Hobbywing F7 convertable with a MPU 6500 gyro. I don't have any wires running over the FC but I could try loosening the nuts on the top of the stack to see if that helps
@timcarlson815 I have not used the mpu6500 before. Really just bmi270 and mpu6000. Might be worth reaching out to hoobywing to see if they have suggestions. Another thing to check is if your getting noise when you rotoate the quad and look at the charts ( betaflight sensor tab)
Thanks! I am not using smart audio. Around 20min I turn on mspvtx and in wiring diagram I don't hook up the SA to the FC. I agree mspvtx is the way to go.

I use liquid electrical tape for the ufl connector, haven’t tried the b7000, just have to be careful when changing antennas with the liquid tape

Haven't watched it yet but thank you for making this. Exactly what i was after!
Nice job and nice hoodie!
this was very helpful bro 🔥
It works for me, I only have the same components except hdzero

@timcarlson815 what is the FC and the gyro on it? Make sure no wires are touching the gyro chip or running near it.

Why are you using SmartAudio, isn't it obsolete in a way (MSP)?

Thank you!
Where did you get that print for the Foxeer ELRS board my guy? Been looking all over thingiverse for it
