Horikoshi confirmed that the star head man doesn't even remember deku from episode 1. Which makes sense he only talked to him once. Also I think todoroki and Endeavor stayed behind because of the Dabi controversy.
I love the little enji keigo shoto family of heroes
@@hkaayaakuu tokoyami?
@@itsh7311 sure he can tag along
"The people who will protect them, are the people they fight for."
That's such a meaningful line. This is where Ochaco's arc has lead. She's grown into a true rescue hero. She knew how to empathize and explain to this crowd what no one else could.
Man, when Deku hits the ground and they perfectly flash the moment he first met Uraraka and she caught him before he fell, I got so many chills. Hats off to the anime staff for that one.
In the manga, when the crowd was yelling after Best Jeanist tried to calm them down, Deku’s Danger Sense was going off like crazy.
I never read the manga but I’m going to pretend that happened in the show. They definitely should have kept that in lol
@@B2tharizzzthey had the imagery of all the civilians with red evil eyes so maybe that’s what they were tryin to portray? Cuz Deku did seem to be freakin out a bit
I guess showing them as physically threatening to him rather than them just trying to make him go away like in the show would've made the crowd seem especially unforgivable
Tbh, not adding it is better, showing intent to hurt him complicates how you should feel, this scene should only portray them to be scared, they shouldn't really want to harm him, just stay away from him. So tl:dr, this is better.
@@marvertjaysonneyra457 tbh the hero’s dealing with a hostile crowd makes the speech more impactful. They may not necessarily want to harm Deku but the crowd’s fear is leading them to the point of rebelling. IMO Deku’s danger sense going off makes sense. He may not be in danger but a riot could be.
She thought of Toga because she was realizing how much society failed her by not proving the bare minimum of support, just like what's happening right now
Ochako just solidified her position as best girl after that speech
Shark Girl>

Stain idolised Allmight. He called him the only hero worthy of being a hero and ending the hero killer.
Just a quick reminder :)
And deku also
I know I realized this really late, but I'm just awestruck by the fact that this is the second time she vouched for Deku to be in U.A. The very first time when she thought he wouldn't get in due to the entrance exams, and she begged Present Mic to give him her points because he deserves to be there, he was a real hero. And she does the exact same thing here but on a grander scale, literally begging the people to let in a weakened (this time more emotionally hurt) Izuku. The circle is complete.
I keep waiting for reactors when they see eelboy to be like “isn’t he dead” but no one seems to remember him 😫😭 thanks Toga
I only remembered because I watch so many reactions.
Wasn't twice the one who stabbed the back of his head?
@@Xx1devilgod1xX Yes, but then Toga transformed into him
In case y'all missed it, Eel Boy is the same superhero that Twice killed right before he died.
I honestly don't understand why they have so much trouble seeing the narrative worth of the current All Might, particularly Rana in this one. This entire series is pretty much about All Might's legacy. The current society was built atop his effort and heroism, and now that same society is crumbling and being exposed for just how flawed it was. He passed on his mission to Midoriya, and that mission crushed him under the weight of it. Now he's stuck in the same position as his sidekick Nighteye, being unable to do anything for someone that he cares about. There is *a lot* to go into with All Might now, even more so than when he was an active hero.
People want their muscle daddy.
Same reason they think only perfect people should be heroes.
They dont know that he’s the new all might just that all for one is after him
Luci Christian, Ururaka’s VA, was FREAKING PHENOMENAL! I already loved Uraraka, but that speech will forever live rent free in my brain! 🥲
15:50 keep in mind it wasn’t just one city that was destroyed. Shigaraki destroyed a 1/3 of the city he was in and Gigantomachia also ravaged 10-13 cities on his path to get to Shigaraki. The destruction in such a short amount of time would send anyone, especially ordinary people spiraling down looking for others to blame.
I love Deku’s Mom was crying and blushing during Ochaco’s Speech. You could tell in her mind, Ochaco is her future Daughter-In-Law.😭❤️
I want that so bad
Everyone is surprised construction of the new security was completed so quickly and it is true that quirks help these things, but it just hit me that it's THAT reason exactly that Ochako Uraraka's family business is poor! Quirks stole their business! 😭😭
I’ve been saying this a lot lately, but this episode really solidified for me how much better a lot of the kids are at being heroes compared to a lot of the adults. 😅
Haha
The kids are in a very different position from the adults though- the adults are getting blame and responsibility heaped onto them in a way that the kids are largely sheltered from.
Like the star guy said, civilians stopped seeing Heroes as people. They can break that train of thought with the kids much easier than they can with established Heroes who've been in the public eye for years.
@@o0Evo0o Well, not exactly. The civilians are still treating the students very similarly to the adults. And even then, the students were still involved in the war so they definitely have that same overwhelming responsibility. It’s not that much of a false equivalence since a lot of the kids have been right there with the pros.
I know Inko has to be so happy seeing somebody finally stand up for her baby boy after all the bullying and beatings he’s been through in life.
Uraraka, Kota, and Giant Lady are the MVP’s this episode.
Giant Lady's name was recently confirmed by a cover illustration in the manga, it's Ippan Josei.
@@TheZapan99 I know, but Ippan Josei just translates to Average Woman.
Not mentioning ol' guy from Ep1 is a crime imo. What he said made sooooooo much sense.
And the Random guy from Episode 1 that called out on Deku being a Fanboy. He was Amazing!
We all need a Giant Lady in our lives.
Not to be “that” person, but if anyone has the opportunity to watch the sub version as well they should. The Japanese VA for Uraraka also went super hella hard 🫶🏾💜
I agree they were both great
I saw the sub as well, but, well. For yhe same reason I prefer dubs I didn't resonate as much: Japanese have a different way of expressing emotions, of how they speak. So while I'm sure the performance is amazing to somebody who knows these emotions... To be honest, without context, I couldn't tell if she was screaming in joy or grief or pain
9:42 Omgosh I did not realize he is the one that called Deku a fan boy 😮. When I watched it the first time I was like who is this guy. Thank goodness he came. But I thought he was just some random dude speaking on his behalf. I like that it came back around.
Literally the only person in the whole series Stain admired is All Might, just saying
Lol exactly.
Eel Boy died during the Meta Liberation raid, he captured Compress and Toga but Twice stabbed him in trying to save him.
Just a little clarification, Ochako in the sub says something along the lines of, "Please lend him your strength. So that we can all smile together in the future." That's when she remembers Toga's crying face. And she remembers that Toga questioned what she wanted to do to her. I think a part of her wants Toga to be a face that smiles, since she doesn't like it when people are sad. And that's a big moment. She doesn't just see Toga as a villain. She sees her as a hurting PERSON. Like how Izuku sees the crying Tenko inside Tomura. And they both want to reach their hands out to those crying kids.
lmao suraj so confident the reason why toga is shown like… no
Yeah they aren't gonna get it because the dub butchered the dialogue.
*This was easily the most emotional I’ve gotten in a while. I genuinely can’t get over how much I ugly-cried here. And I cry a lot, so I don't say that lightly. 😅*
Bro I saw ur comment on blind wave’s video too💀big fan of ur work (marry uraraka)
Uraraka's speech got me all emotional
Same😢😭
one thing that gets me is how the citizens don't recognize that alot of the heroes gave their lives in that last op
Just because a character professes love for another doesn't mean the show is ending soon. Hinata confessed her love to Naruto, then they didn't speak for 300 episodes, then got married at the end of the series as an afterthought. The MHA manga is still going, Ochaco confessing her love means nothing to the remaining length of the story.
Great reaction! Ochaco's English VA KILLED it
Noticed Micky's new glasses and he looks like he's bout to read me a story or betray me in an anime.
Lmao at Mickey being so adamant about Stain wanting to kill All Might. Does he not remember anything about Stain's character at all? All Might is the last person on earth he would want to kill
Yep I also thought about the Geo-Front and Tokyo-3 with the new security system of UA.
IIRC there was a LN story where Kirishima and Tokoyami and other students actually ran into the tunnels underground. The manga kinda references this by them looking at each other as if they connected the dots.
They looked at each other in the anime too
Twice actually killed Eel boy from Ochaco's flashback when he rescued Toga and Mr Compress in episode 3 when he was dying.
I have been waiting for this guys finally let’s go
I love you and your content, keep it up fam
Shout out to Mickey for recognizing the guy from season 1
Mickey is the living personification of the "Um, actually B)" meme lol!
Why would Stain hurt his hero that he deems is worthy above everybody else 🤦🏾♂️
Chris flexing his tattoo smh
I have waiting soooo long for this video!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Okay but why's the 8 foot tall furry chick gotta be so thicc?
Yams 🎉
Part of her mutant quirk.
Inko (Mamadoriya) has to be muttering "Grandbabies" to herself after this episode.
Everyone else's declarations were in all in one episode but Uraraka got her own episode and people still refuse to accept that Ochako and Ochako alone is Izuku's Soulmate.
About the ridiculousness of U.A.'s new security, we must remember that Nezu's Quirk High-Specs grants him Superhuman Intelligence. It's not really surprising that he can develop futuristic tech with that intellect and ridiculous wealth. Think Tony Stark in rodent form.
I'm really happy that Nighteye's final words, "Bright Future", is still being used as the words to describe what people hope for.
You should watch this on your own time in sub, uraraka's japanese voice actress was fire!
They both did so good!
Bro I actually shed a tear from her performance, i Like the dub of this show but the performance of sub was much better imo
@Caleb Lytle The dub script also made it more confusing why Uraraka was thinking of Toga because they took out line about smiling together to contrast with image of Toga crying. I like the flow of how Uraraka sounds for the part when Deku falls to ground better with the lines in sub too with a more direct title drop of "his hero academia".
Why would they do that the dub VA was just as good???
@@randycropsey6131 because although the intensity is the same, yes both VA are very good, but some of the dialogues becomes lost in translation... Not saying for all people as the same but the subbed one had more impact on me, just watch reactions on the subbed one, many reactors cried because of it.
This episode was fantastic.
my favorite moment of this episode is right before the midway cut, when the two people that midoriya saved came to save him. easily best moment of the episode.
Saying that season 1 happened a year ago is insane to me. It started while I was in High School and now I’m in university
I won’t like I was crying during Uraraka’s speech
(At 9:26) imagine if Naruto was in this universe… and THIS woman was his new mommy?
I'm here for Suraj's expected "If we don't learn to live together... we're gonna die alone." LOST for life!
When you ask about the Orange Lightsaber and maybe Sith. But they called. "The Acolyte" I think I might be wrong.
Wish they did like BlindWave and had an editor add a clip at the end to remind them that Eel-Boy was the hero that Twice stabbed to death. Would have been fun to see their shocked reaction lol
Does Chris's tattoo say "Be A Good Ancestor" ? "Cementos the freshmaker." "Random Furry Lady, Quirk: THICK." Glad to have the full couch not just for the jokes but for the emotional responses from Rana and Marketa.
yes that is what it says
Chris Johnson having wardrobe malfunction 😂
Eel Boy (the hero in Ochaco's flashback) was the one killed by Twice's clone right before he died
In an episode with nothing but dialogue, how can you see they “held back” on animation? Lol there was barely any bodily movement and every mouth movement and little bodily movement and character acting we got looked good. Like Deku crying for example. There weren’t very many still shots either. It’s more like, this episode has the standard good MHA animation. They usually kick it up to great with fight scenes. And season 4 was literally the only season that had a big fight as the final episode. Also, why would Stain and All Might fight? He literally respects tf outta All Might. He thinks of him as a true hero. And All Might can’t even fight now.
Allmight cannot fight because he used all of One for all's power against AFO back in season 3
Jesus Christ the normies are not the brightest
It’s sad when you remember Toga killed Eelboy
Im inlove with this season!!!
I recomend yall treat yourself and watch the sub of uraraka's speech. It hits different.
It's a dialogue-heavy episode, course they wouldn't go all out on the animation, bruh.
And Season 4 was the only time the show had a big fight for a season finale.
Missed yall 😆
She cut a fire promo, I see why the citizens are scared but they also have to have hope.
Is eel boy the hero twice killed?
Yes.
What will they react to after MHA? Spy Family? Blue Lock? Hell's Paradise?
people who been sleep on My Hero gone be the ones starting it when next season come out
ROFLMAO Look how Rana reacts at 9:25 !!
this episode in English doesn't give me the same feeling when listening to them sepak
We've seen Eel Boy once before, Twice's final copy stabbed him to death when he was trying to arrest Toga and Compress.
They be wanting All Might to die so bad😂😂😂. I don’t read the mangas so idk what’s gonna happen with his character moving forward. But I personally believe Toshinori is going to make it to the endgame.
So i knew what was gonna happen in this episode bc of both the name and just having heard about ochako's speech so i was interested to see what she was gonna say. About halfway through the episode i was like, was that it? I mean the speech was ok but it didnt seem like enough or anything special, then they hit me with the "im begging!" And i just started sobbing. The voice actor absolutely killed it, this episode was amazing
9:39 I swear this guy looks like a wooper 💀
11:56 i want to ask yal whose voice actor was narrating
Suraj imma need to know where that cap came from
Glad I'm not the only one flummoxed by the defense network and cost that would make the DOD recoil.
The title does bring some Pain's flashblacks and just as chris said "when someone comes out of the closet, that's when the mumbo jumbo starts kicking in" or something like that.
Eel-boy is the guy Twice killed before he died in case you didn’t know.
in a show where a 15-year-old boy can change the weather with a single punch. You guys are concerned that building a hyper futuristic school system is unrealistic because it was done within a year.
1:48 All-Might’s time wasn’t peaceful either, during All-Might’s reign All For One was at his peak and had complete controlled over all villains in Japan. It wasn’t until All-Might defeated him the first time where things actually improved for society
Btw people Mickey doesn't like romance because in the Re zero reactions
He makes fun of Subaru and rem's confession
Also Ochako is defending Deku from the angry mob's doing this is not a love moment it's a encouraging moment for deku
I just wanna add, while it does sound pretty anime schlocky that they built all those defenses for UA in a year, keep in mind Cementos alone built the entirety of the UA dorm system in 3 days. and by the time the students got there it was it was fully equipped with electricity and plumbing.
Not saying it isn't anime schlock, but at least it's tried to make it look believable within its world!
Sad fact; Eel Boy is the hero Toga killed after Twice died.
Can we appreciate how Nezu saying he payed for it all himself only raises more questions? Like.... how big is his salary? How long has be been playing the stock market? What do his taxes look like?
Let’s gooooooooo
If it's known about Deku being the target I would probably remind the people that they're all targets regardless of where Deku goes. The fastest way to draw him out is to attack civilians so realistcally your options are to group up and be subject to massive casualties at once or spread out and make interdiction near impossible.
Yes that man Micky is back 😍
Mickey is the worst reactor i don't want see him in this
@Helena San get outta here you pesky peasant!
Now I need someone like Uraraka fr TwT
If you thought Stain killing All Might was even a possibility, then you didn’t understand Stain. All Might was the *ONE* hero Stain actually respected, and the one hero he would’ve _let_ kill _him._ And then he respected Deku too after seeing him risk his life for his friend. Stain would _never_ kill All Might.
They saved the budget to put the extra money into stain's chin, like damn it was wayyyyy too Long of a chin
Random furry lady
Quirk : Thick
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Attempt #2116: of trying to get The Normies to check out Sym-Bionic Titan or Primal.
Both made by Genndy Tartakovsky, the guy who made Samurai Jack.
ngl the mha civilians are the definition of "Ungrateful"
this story being told from Izukus perspective just makes me happier when i see ochako get prettier everytime he sees her.
I see your tattoo chris😅🔥🔥🔥
Bro, I'll never understand the stance of the citizens here. The heros "failed", facing danger they've never seen before. They are continuing to fight and prep for this new danger. What do you gain by critiquing them? They're there to protect you or die trying, they're certainly doing that.
I’m nervous that we haven’t seen Toga since her fight with Ochako.
Stain idolizes Allmight so he's safe for now
MHA takes place in the future with high technology and I'd be in the citizen's shoes if you don't have a quirk of course and Deku having multiple quirks makes people uneasy because of All for one's nomus having multiple quirks makes u like a abomination some exceptions like Todoroki having Ice and fire but that's rare
Also don't talk over Ochako's speech please
Uraraka's speech in dub is good but in sub it was wayyy better and impactful
Leave it to normies to talk over important speeches and scenes lol. Just pause the show first if your joke is so important.
Agree with you
They need to stop joking when a important moment is hitting
floating over their heads is frustrating
Stain wouldn't kill All-Might. He's worthy in his eyes. He would allow All-Might to kill him. He said it himself.
Evangelion when
I usually don't prefer sub but i happen to watch this episode in sub, Uraraka's voice actor pulled off perfect, I would suggest watch this in Sub.
