This was my first rump roast. 10/10 video recipe. I cooked to 141° - sliced it as thin as possible. I put roast, green peppers, onions, and cheese on an onion bun. OMG. I suggest a sturdy French roll with hot roast. Cold roast works better on the onion bun.
I liked the video before the fetch. I wanted to like it again after ❤️ 🐶 I’m a little late, as my roast is almost done. I’ll look into trying some of these methods sometime!
Well heck. I wish I had watched your video before smoking my bottom round roast. It came out fine but I'm loving everything you did here. Gonna try that next time.
Sorry for my ignorance with roasts, but isn't it really tough cooking it for that short of time? Will give it a try this afternoon if nobody warns me otherwise.
@@tjdinfl Thanks for the reply. I ended up doing something else with the roast as there is no way this was tender. If it was a rib roast or even a loin roast, I would try this, but not a rump roast.
I copied your olive oil herb instructions, and slightly changed the rub because we don’t like a lot of spice. It’s on the smoker now, I’m cheating using a pellet grill but can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Nice job love the vocal presentation sometimes the narrator doesn’t have a voice that is easy to listen to I wish this was not the case love the dog keep it fresh with the dog
Very good and clear instructions, not over seasoned (well by looks away) looked great when done and the best part, you had time to play with your dog.
Great video! I'm smoking a roast as we speak. I'm glad to see some ladies doing some bbq vids. Far too few of you gals. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I hope your roast came out great. Cheers!
This is the best video yet, thank you. Straight forward, and to the point.
Smoking a beef roast is one of my favorite things. Make a sandwich with provolone cheese and horseradish on a homemade bun, can't beat it
Homemade bun, that is next level!

Thanks for checking it out!
Great video. We recently purchased a whole steer and have been looking for ways to use the roasts other than just the typical slow cooker/pot roast.
Great video, that looked amazing! nice concise video editing too! i am going to have to try this with my rump roast in the freezer.
Thanks Rob! Always good to have a stocked up freezer!
Beautiful roast!

WOE, That Smoked BEEF Rump Roast looks (AWESOME), HELL YEA!! GOOD JOB & KEEP EM COMIN.... 👍👍👍😊😁😎🤩😀💖✌️
Thanks Todd, I would like to do one with Venison as well.
For the drip pan - would the drippings burn if it was a bare pan underneath? I'm imagining a yorkshire pudding in those smoky drippings.
Awesome Video. I will make it this week, Thanks! Also, be careful serving alliums to a dog.

My thoughts exactly. Too bad no one gave you feedback. So, how was it? Tough cooking it this short amount of time? I’m doing one tomorrow.

Great video. Doing this your way tomorrow. Are you drinking ginger beer and spiced rum at the end? If so we need to meet up
Let us know how it turns out!
It wasn't ginger beer with rum, that sounds like a solid pairing though!
sweet,,,,,that came out beautiful
Thanks for stopping by Keith!
Man does that look good :3 Thanks for posting - TinyTrainTrack
Thanks for watching! Hope you give it a shot.
Hi there did you add any more charcoal during the cook or was that enough charcoal for a 3 hour cook?
We started with plenty to get us through the entire cook!
Good job
Thanks
Im gonna try it
You'll love it!
