Love the NO PREP scene/stuff and Cleetus trying it out is awesome!!!!! 22:19 ITS HOONIGAN THIS VS THAT!!!!!!!
I heard it was the recarnation of race wars
Was just about to say the same thing
lol its an airport runway haha nice catch i didnt hear that first time around
IDK, they have been there with Mullet before. Why say this is their first time if they have been before?
Leia is in the freedom 500 too
This driveway no prep shenanigans needs to be a regular thing!!
I know looking at it range it's the "perfect" private test spot for hits. I use quotes cuz that's narrow AF lol
Absolutely! So fun to watch🤙
hell it's the perfect spot for suspension tuning the entire fleet cause if you can get it to even slightly hook there it's gonna go numbers in the prep. tune for the wort then take advantage of the best
With special guest star's popping by to rip one.
Nice wide road. No fence posts, no telephone posts, no trees.
🤣
George’s energy when he is driving is unmatched. Dude loves what he does for work 100%!
Imagine if he stayed with boring jeremy at slowerproms. Really brought best out in the dude joining the cleeter crew
he drives a couple hours a day to work every day i would hope so
Cory - I hardly believe what George does for Cleetus he actually considers work!! Let's GOOO!
No shit, I’d take his job👌🏼
Matter of fact, if Cleetus will hook me up with their job I’ll hold ANY and every car/truck they’ve got flat-footed to the mf floor while pushing every single nitrous and/or scramble button available down any track, street, OR even driveway they ask me too🤘🏼
Much respect to Sam, everything in the fleet is just polished and shiney. Even the supercharger pullies and hat are shining.
@CleatusMcFarland Hey Brother, I just watch and enjoy your videos. Hope I'm leaving enough freedom and "horsetorque" in the right "spot", lol.
That’s those cars biggest source of power and most American type thing they got in the car, of course they want it shiny
@@ericstout4122all those shiny turds
Love George's energy. He just loves driving that blazer and gets super excited when things start falling into place.
I like the idle the most!
The whole team has an energy enough to make everyone want to work there. I retire in May at 65 and I’d like to go find something to do there. Someone is always laughing or smiling. Sam has the best job and life there, may he stay healthy and stay there for as many years as he’d like to.
George had the best energy! The whole team is great, but when George is stoked, you can feel it!
Its so amaazing to me the tuning that can be done on a laptop these days. Im showing my age, but go fast mods used to be more air in/more air out without major engine work. Then it advanced to ordering a chip and swaping it out of my ecu on my 91 C4. Who knows if it even gave me the 10% or whatever increase in HP as advertised. Being able to adjust fuel, timing and everything else with a click, change parameters and hit enter is unbelievable.
I love how much knowledge these guys have mechanically and individually, yet still lean on one another. Built a solid team over the years for sure 🎉
James has to most knowledge as far as actual no prep racing! But must say the new team and they are a true race team are great. It’s crazy how big Garrett has gotten since the beginning. Heck no even his older brother parker has gotten into RUclips and drag racing pretty awesome.
James seems to be the most knowledgeable forsure with motors and racing all around…definitely a good ole boy!!!
@@PHILLY214 nah i actually think it might be sam. that dude was a pure legend when he was younger. doing all kinds of crazy shit and has all kinds of knowledge over his years on this earth.
Ha! It’s because of all the practice they put in with Cleet taking it in turns with which car and block next to destroy.
And not afraid to call in a special team member when needed.
I hope this is training for Hoonigan this vs that. We need cleetus back on that show
I was wondering that too bc they said no prep race on a airstrip 🤔🤔
Same here
It is 🤣
100% he said airstrip
It's gotta be!
George joining the cleeter crew is best thing since sliced bread i still say it bc it, really brought the best out of him in all aspects... this was legit his calling so glad he joined cleet
Man, the reflection of Cleet in the side of the blazer is crystal clear. Sam's work and products are impressive
From the time Cleetus said it’s a airport runway THIS VS THAT came to mind I can’t wait for more no prep action from u guys
My exact thought when I heard that lol
100%
Cleet I'm gonna need more no prep content from you guys. I have a feeling you guys will be real good at this once you get the hang of it
Cleeter and crew getting into no prep is def a huge win in my book! No prep is huge right now and its pretty cool seeing ppl with lil experience at it learn the ins and outs. Would be stoked to see yall get successful at it
Bro if they get into no prep it’s going to be awesome we go to a lot of no prep racing in the Carolinas I’ve been wanting to see them try no prep for a while
No prep takes a whole different suspension setup.
@@RMartin631 yes and no I know a few guys that no prep and radial race with some suspension setup changes not completely different suspension it’s about knowing how to use what you have and asking questions and TESTING!!!!!
@@NoPrepFans, I didn't say a different suspension, I said a different suspension setup. The same thing that you said.
@@RMartin631 sorry man just read it wrong I’ll drive on my bad
I’m really proud of George for wearing the safety gear!
After one of their earlier mishaps I think Cleet made it a policy that you can't do anything on the track without at least a helmet, so they take safety at least somewhat seriously
have you seen how he drives? he definitely needs safety gear
RIP Fiero
I wish I had some on two days ago man I'm in pain🤣
All the insurance. Use the safety gear like your life depends on it.
Awesome , Thanks CM & Friends 😊
Hey lucky subscriber!!!you were shortlisted for an ongoing give away secession text above to claim *
Can't wait to see the episode of this vs that. I wonder what they'll put the Blazer up against
When he said no prep I immediately looked to see when ls fest west was
I'm curious to see what this vs. that episode it's on as well. That was my instant thought. It was kind of confirmed when cleetus said that it was an airport runway.
Is that Ebay motors show where they raced a bunch of YT builders still a thing? Its 100% either that or Hoonigan
@@richosroadshow2342 i think ebay motors now sponsers this vs that so the other show probably not a thing anymore
@@billsmith9340 lol LS fest is in September of every year it never changes!
im so down for cleetus and crew doing no prep stuff like cash days
Lol and Kyle blurring Garrets face like we all dont know who it is.
@@TexasVexes I believe they were blurring the sign bro, So they cant pin point exactly where they ran it.
Lmao. They got a long way to go before they even think about cash days 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@TexasVexes DADDY Shark do do dododo
@@elkomander3510 Nah lol he's talking about when they used to blur Garrets face in the old street and cash days videos and it was hella obvious lol
A long time since Cleeter was doing 1320 real street and Jackstand rowed away with it. Glorious!
Would love to see an Auto-Salvage Wars series on here! Teams of 2 and the guys are given 3/4 grand to make something awesome out of what they find in an auto salvage! These kinds of series are such a community favorite!
I know it's been a while first it was the golf carts and then the cheap car battle and then the boats but it would be awesome to have a build off again like they did before with the golf carts but with something they can use after because the golf cart was too fast to be any good and they never use it.
💯
This would be awesome!!!
watching them test and tune for no prep is dope not gonna lie
It would be mental if cleet got george a smx to put under the blower, got the suspension ironed out, and george ran the blazer and jackstand ran McFlurry at no preps
that would be pretty cool but cleetus is hesitant to put an SMX in his most winningest car so i really really doubt it 😂😂
Sounds like a redemption run at This VS That with Hoonigan is coming in hot!!!
Thanks for watching send a direct message to the link above 👆 now!!
I have something for you 🎁🎁💯💯
I feel the same thing from the start! As soon as they said runway I knew it has to be true
Did they already participate?
I just watched the first This vs Dahm and it clicked that I reckon that’s what’s happening.
Yep, i bet it was for This vs Dahm for sure.
I'm curious if they find something different.
I enjoy watching George he lightens my mood everytime .
He does doesn't he,, his smile and great attitude is infectious. Garrett Mitchell aka Cleetus McFarland dun good hiring George away from his shop mate back in tha day.
Buenos diiiiiiiaaaaaassssss
Ruby would also be good for some no prep I reckon. She has done her fair share of wheelies
I think most of those were power wheelies like what mullet does rather than wheelies due to grip and differences in front and rear weight
@@seanharrison6162 she has done both. Corvettes by nature have some significant rear weight with the trans axle so it wouldn't be difficult or require much weight being moved to make it rear bias. Personally I think Ruby would be better because you have more things you can tune. Timing and boost can easily be controlled to get the right ramp. Blower cars all you really have is timing and it just makes whatever boost the pully lets it.
shes one of the best cars i miss it
I agree Ruby would be the better choice.
Ruby would be a great choice as well. Cleetus has said before that it hooks on the street fairly well.
The Elco and Leroy have a crazy forward weight bias compared to Ruby.
5:15 that dudes face looking in the window 😅
Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a Kaiser blade
You want to stay in the puddle for just a second to let the sauce break down the rubber then have high wheel speed and low ground speed to transfer the rubber to the surface but also want to stop as soon as possible to keep from rolling through any debris and it sticking to the tire. You want the burnout as straight as possible and get back exactly in those tracks. You want to hit the tire to set it basically then pull some power to keep it under control. Y’all Will get it keep it up 🤘🏼
Love the No Prep content. Now is when you need Pete he’s really good at doing this stuff
Nice
Real good at stuff doing
@@brianhbinesh that’s right
No prep is all about the laptop game. Would love to see pete on it. His channel is so technical but he knows what he's doing.
Check out the beer money mustang he and his guys built on the TV show. It wins about everything.
Great stuff ..it’s so nice hearing that supercharged Tahoe , they sound so much better than turbo cars.
Sounds like we are gonna see them on This Vs. That soon 😅
Exactly what I was thinking
Yuuuup he said airport runway
😂 just commented the same thing! Hell yeah!!
This vs That not no prep tho...
@@datgreedysvt it is, they don't prep the surface. It's a dusty & dirty runway with some passes on it
You under estimate the team and yourself, look how quick you ended up going. Mad respect to you and the team.
The blazer was leaving better on that surface then at the track.
Excited to see no prep with the team, fire me up!
With Cleet and Jack Stand guiding George back, it looked a lot like synchronized swimming. Funny stuff.
You not knowing what you’re doing has never stopped you before that’s why we love watching your videos 🔥
I want to say when I run on the streets I put added weight in the rear of 200lbs of led weights and originally four large bags of concrete maybe six and tighten up the front a little more then 12psi tire and up the power after burnout prep.
@CleetusM0003 nope scam I have had so many try to scam me unless real confirmation email I will not give out any information as I have had three different "cleetus" RUclips address come out saying I've won something and too send money for shipping and I almost fell for it silly me fool me once that's on me fool me twice that's on you.
I love the idea of McFarland Racing getting to the no prep world.. Ole George's excitement make me so stoked for this. Time for the Blazer to shine!!
doubt it would ever happen but seeing them at cash days would be dope, think they're sticking to track tho
I can just imagine George trash talking at a no prep 😂😂
I really do prefer no prep stuff to most track-only toys. Love seeing y'all branch more into it
I'm so pumped for the no prep event you got coming up its long over due for you to do it this is a big heck yeah brother
Definitely get a Draggy for tuning while doing test hits.
It’ll be cool to see the Blazer trying noprep
Shocked he doesn't have one
Why would he need a draggy when they can see the data on screen
He has a computer
I have a feeling the boys are going to hoonigans, and I'm ready for it! 💪💪
Same
he even said @22:21 its an airport runway.
That laugh from george after cleeter bet it wouldn't wheelie was just so perfect.
George is like "dude I almost did a backflip in this thing"
He LOL's like a 3 yr old.
A video entirely dedicated to Rocky? YES PLEASE!!!
I'm super excited for whatever this event is you're teasing us with.
It’s gonna be hoonigan this vs that
Comment above Is definitely right
@@slipinsidwayz good shout that, I was thinking going back to his 1320 roots and going mexico for some racing🤣

Yes it is. That thing is a beast. Good luck
you needa archive this video. this right here is a testament to the team you have built and work with. again, congratulations, enjoy the rewards gentlemen. and as always, thank you for sharing!
George on this vs that that's sick, the prep on that airstrip is a bit more developed so i think he'll hook all the way into high gear unless that day is a scorcher
I feel maybe a hoonigan "this vs. that" episode coming??.......fingers crossed 🤞🤞
He said airport runway if anyone caught that
I actually didn't catch that..I'm just wishful thinking..
Theres also a chance its a season 2 of whatever show Adam and Collete have been filming. They did drag racing in the first one maybe they are doing no prep for season two.
22:19
For hot days testing you should consider a cool shirt system. You can use the quick disconnects to have the cooler outside the car so you can at least keep the driver cool when you're sitting there tuning. You could probably use them staging as well. It's the best way to keep cool hands down.
Might want to talk to Pete about setting the Blazer up with a profiler so it has some "traction control"
I must say, my day doesn’t feel right without a video from cleeter. I get so excited for a new upload. Hell yea brothers!! 🤘🏼🇺🇸 🦅
Hell yeah brother! 🇺🇸 🦅
I go all the way back too were I almost road you guys off.
When you had loose flywheel bolts you put on yourselves!
Has to be way back like 7 years!
The tire wrinkle on the last run tells me, yall did pretty damn good🤣

If Brent will ever open a shop in Florida the RUclips car universe will be complete
Thanks for being there for us cleetus, I’ve been going through things and you always make my day. Love you brother 💪
Don't know you. Whatever it is, Keep your head up shit will get easier.
dude you guys get into no prep stuff i feel sorry for alot of people an i can't wait to see it ! DO SOME NO PREP
Time to call Billy at SRC for some no prep advice !!!
yeah a colab with someone who regular tunes cars for street racing would have got them started in the right direction...
Gotta cook them tires in some Stripper Glitter....
The old man trying to slap some carburetors on that thing!!
We've all seen SRC test hits, blazer is going to gapplebees if that's their tune lmao.
A collab with SRC and ole cleetus would be hella cool. Billy's the man when it comes to no prep and turning. That s10 did work . Pretty excited to see how it dose with all the recent changes
Could you imagine the look on their faces if Billy made a hit there right after they finished up. Lol I'm not a betting man but I'd put money on billy/Tommy 2 guns anywhere off the trailer.
glad this did not end up like the fiero incident lol.
It takes some Tweaking, but you have plenty of time with that Strait you made. That was awesome when he Found his Gear mate.;)

If so ,Just might run out of top end tho
can’t wait to see them on this vs that rooting for team cleat 100% ‼️
I think it might be street outlaws
@@angelsalazar9344 does street outlaws run on an airport runway?
I caught the airport comment cleat said too. Gotta be this vs that.
@@balltongue87 yea your right missed that part
New series just started called This vs Dahm. Up against Rob Dahm’s 4 rotor awd RX7.
You really need to do a standing burnout on your street sauce to get proper use of it's effect. Just rolling across it does almost Nothing to help traction. But if you do a stander on that Shat and let the tires warm it up and get them heated it becomes super glue and stringy.
It's great to see George get some seat time. That blazer is comical. The torque is just all of it and instant!
I have to say, I've been watching this channel since it started and it definitely my #1 fav RUclips channel.
When you are using the track bite liquid you should do a standing burnout for like 2-3 seconds then roll out. You might be able to put a couple of degrees of timing back into it.
Let’s see a no prep build 👀
Yeah buddy
Maybe that could be a good use for that ute that he was going to put the Godzilla in
Shoot, just need to get Mcflurry tuned and suspension settings tested.

Get in touch with those SRC boys or the old man’s garage to show you how it’s done 👌
Good idea
I agree with you.
Definitely! Billy is a badass on the street.
I put the same comment. We need to fr get these comments to blow up so they see them

@@TexasDmax_2k if your job requires driving it makes it easier to get it back, the first time anyway. Who knows maybe he’s working with a work permit lol
They some good ol boys bruh I’m sure Cleetus was like just handle it when you can bud. 😂
I love how George gets so hyped up every time he drives the blowzer that shit will never get old.👍💪
Loosen the front end so you can get as much travel out of it as possible and when you put the traction compound down light it on fire to make it super sticky and air the rear tires down as well and even though the Blazer doesn't have a grille in it you have more front end than most people who run No Prep
Every time i see Geoge I remember the FASTER PROMS i miss them
I somehow was more worried after cleet said ‘we have two fire extinguishers’ 😂
Matt R - Yeah Buddy!! Workin' MDOT on M-55 near Lake City had ice storm. Gal w/Astro Van whipped by me, went 200' & headoned a Jeep Laredo, bucking it well off road. Driverette in Laredo smucked under dash & afire w/gas flyin' all over plus no access as hood crumpled hiding bat-tree. Me & 2 ole Gals buried driver in block of snow, Laredo burned down & half hour later Fire Dept arrived. Chiefie said no survivors, hung his head & his crew walked off. Old Gal attacked closest Fireman whoopin' on his chest. I pried her off sayin', "There's just one thing ya gotta see", leadin' him over to wreck. I knelt down to ice block and said, "Honey, are you alright?" Ice block replied, "I'm still OK"! And that's how you see a Fireman collapse & his Buddy radio The Chief!! The comedy of situation was Sherrif covering accident got call from Wife, & she noticed him to return home with her 4WD as they were needed at Hospital as Niece in terrible accident on M-55. Sherrif being no fool, took few steps to ambulance, glanced at his Niece, came back, told Wife he was tending to accident personally & would return 4WD ASAP, with an "I gotta go". 6 wks later at Foster's Mkt, I got trapped by Gal with her 2 young Sons and rewarded with 2 doughnuts for saving her life. Highway workers love doughnuts...how sweet it is!! Hope Cleetus and the boys don't get in jam like that down here in FLA, AS THERE IS NO SNOW!!!

With the right safety equipment its fine. But you are likely to crash more.
I’m thinking McFlurry is a good candidate being it has some gangster suspension under that car and we have had mustangs with bone stock suspension other then rear springs hold the wheels past the 60ft on and shitty no prep surface
Install a driveshaft sensor and then call Pete and have him set up a traction control curve in your Holley.
Just based on experience at racing in general. I think jackstand should be doing the driving on this one.

The rear is to high on the blazer. Not sure what year James thinks it is, but 6.40 is not at all competitive in no prep or the street unless we're talking the daily class which that car doesn't fit.
Try 10 psi on the tires and double check the pressure after the burn out. Suspension tuning is key for no prep racing
Hell yeah brother!!! Dr tune em all you have been missed!
I haven’t seen a Cleetus video in well over a year. The numbers are incredible!!excited to see where the content is at.
