Been using zooms for decades - back to the 35mm film days of the 70s. I used to use a Canon 600D (18MP APs-C) with Tamron 18-270. Loved it. literally took it all over the world many times. 2 years ago I bought RP (26MP FF) + 24-240. Many reasons. It's full frame. Lighter than my old gear. A crop from this at 240 is better than a full frame at 270 from my old APS-C body & lens. In camera lens corrections for jpegs which hardly need any editing. It's price puts a lot of APS-C only lenses to shame! So if you have APS-C, consider this and appreciate if you later on go FF, you can keep the lens! Great for travel 'grab' shots. It doesn't make me lazy. It makes me very efficient!
Really enjoyed shooting the lens content while travelling--though definitely a lot of hiccups as I continued. Lots to learn with lighting and sound. 😅
