Anyone who can remember all the functions of this flash light should win an award.

Coming soon, Alexa on your flashlight 🤪
“Alexa, turn on the flashlight at 43.7% intensity!”
“I’m sorry Dave, I just can’t do that.”

Lol I keep an "always downloaded" Anduril 2 guide in Google Drive linked on my lock screen for my TS10 😂
It's easy to use, I just forget all the neat party tricks

I learned it in about 3 days of using it. The diagram makes it look impossible to learn but it's really not. I even learned the functions that weren't even in the diagram, by reading ToyKeeper's documentation on Aduril 2. For exp., I was able to customize the speed at which smooth ramping operates! I'm spoiled on Anduril now.

I got this on the initial release sale. Unbelievable value for $17 with cell included. The price has gone up, and there are more options out there now. But I think the ultra-low moonlight is unbeaten, except for maybe the Wurkkos TS10 which has probably as low a moonlight mode. Not necessarily practical, but an impressive technical feat.
I eventually sold the light because I wanted more runtime and I don't mind larger lights as EDC. In fact I use mainly 21700 lights now.
Anduril is not that hard. If you can operate a car or any other modern appliance (heck, we all have cellphones, which are many times more complex than Anduril) then you can operate an Anduril light. I think people get scared off by the 'x number of clicks' thing and think it's like morse code. After the initial setup I only ever use: smooth ramping mode, hold from off for moonlight, and double click for turbo. The other stuff is there for 'power users' and can honestly be safely ignored.
Where Anduril really shines is the smooth ramping. In 4 years and over 200 lights from multiple brands owned, there's not a single other UI that implements the smooth ramping as smoothly and accurately as this open source software.

Great review as always! This is one of my favs too because of the rare(er) AA + side button config. My only gripe is how easily it activates, necessitating lockout mode if not in-hand. Regardless, I really like the AA/14500 size, esp. dressing for the summer heat!
I think you'd really enjoy the Skilhunt M150 and something from Emisar/Noctigon, two must-haves for any light enthusiast! 😉 Emisar allows you to choose all the LEDs for your custom (and cheap during the current sale!) flashlight. The M150 is a AA/14500 as well, hi-CRI Nichia 519A, and a usb-c protected battery and build quality like Acebeam. It was my favorite before it and my Pokelit got lost on the beach by my little guys looking for ghost crabs lol.
My TS10 hasn't left my pocket since, but I really want either another M150 or an Emisar D2 (dual-channel, right angle 14500). Thanks again!

Dang, almost forgot my Skilhunt E2A! It's basically an Acebeam Pokelit if it could tail-stand, had a nicer switch, and a diffuse lens for the same $. VERY lovely beam, and easily my most-used... it has the scars to prove the abuse it's survived lol

I wish you could one day do a demo on the Anduril system with a couple of lights for teaching. That mode is confusing sometimes

The moonlight mode on this is the best moonlight mode of any light I have ever used
Probably the best 14500 flashlight ever, I don’t even bother using the tool AA because the pocket clip sucks and the moonlight is way too bright
Just ordered some 519a emitters to swap into the sp10 to get a warmer tint

yes, the Tool AA's belt clip is lacking, though they did get it right on the EDC AA they just started selling again.

The current listing says that it comes with a 14500, which would be nice. I like the bicycle mode, I wish Sofirn sold a helmet or bike mount for these. Any recommendations on other brand's? As I often turned on lights in my pocket I do like the electronic lockout, but the simplicity of the Fenix does otherwise appeal to me.

I just watched this, and also your review of the Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 Nichia version. Great reviews! I am choosing between the two. Both seem solid lights. My comments on the Sofin SP10 Pro are:
    a) the run time for 1 Lumen mode with NiMh batteries is low. Just 60 hrs, vs 150 hrs on the 1.5 Lumen mode of the Lumentop Tool AA 2.0. Otherwise, run times seem to be similar.
    b) The tail is shaped like a tail switch but it’s not. Do you think this supposed to be some tactical design, i.e. for use as a weapon? A magnetic tail clip is for sale separately for about $2.50
I need a backup for my 6.5 year old Olight S2A which has recently been blinking whenever in high or turbo modes, as if the IC can’t receive or supply the needed current/voltage. I’ve eliminated the batteries as suspects, so it must be the flashlight.

If you don't need the anduril UI, go with the Lumintop Nichia. It is an excellent light for the money.
