  • The Compucorp 344 Statistician is one out of a range of very early high-end portable, programmable machines. The 344 was introduced in 1972 priced at 895$. A few years later, in 1976, Texas Instruments introduced the TI-SR56 priced at 110$. The speed of electronic development appears to be fabulous. It wasn’t just a much cheaper and smaller but also a more capable calculator. Wondering whether it was also faster I programmed both with an almost similar program calculating N!. See how it does in the video.

      I'm sorry to say that I can't help you with that. My machine is technically 100%. Only the key-contacts needed cleaning. Wish you success with yours. Tiny
