It's so weird, but I'm watching lots of these videos again and it's making me so nostalgic. I don't think nostalgic is the right word because it was only this year, but it's really making me miss the beginning of Eurovision season when some of the new entries get released and listened to for the first time and there are videos ranking them and being updated every time a new song comes out. It makes me realise how much I love the pre-Eurovision build up as well as the actual shows themselves; because it's so exciting to hear the songs for the first time and everyone gets hyped together. I can't wait to experience this again in a few months

6. Australia (I really like her magical performance and voice but only moment with "ze-e-e-e-ero" sounds catchy)

Italy soooo good! authentic songs do really well, and you can tell it comes from a place of truth, audiences can sense it. Look at last few winners; Neta Toy, some hated it, but it was authentic, Portugal, not my favourite but again came from an honest place, Ukraine, so divisive, but won in the end despite all the hate. I hope it does well, early days yet but I think it could do really well, already the bookies have placed it 3rd...or it could bomb! who knows lol
Well... "authentic", it depends on the ear of the listener I guess, because to my Spanish ears it's similar to other modern songs I've heard. But I like it, and it has a good message.
@@arianam9977 Well the message will disappear since no one in Europe understand Italian outside of Italy and the only thing the audience is gonna vote for is the melody, which isn't strong in this song, and his voice, which I find annoying

@@arianam9977 when I say authentic, I mean its clear that he wrote the song and it comes from a place of truth. alot of songs are given to the artists by writers writing a song for 'eurovision', without understanding what he is singing it feels honest. its not immediately my style of music but i find it compelling and moving to listen to and it on many listenings I've not tired of it
@@Muroviola. it's defintely not for everyone, but the past 3 years all the songs that won have been pretty divisive, ukraine, split fans, as did Portugal and so did Netta so i think it stands a good chance
