    Hi Chris - Thanks so much for showcasing the Conneaut Railroad Museum and our volunteers. We certainly appreciate it. You did a fine job documenting our displays. In regards to the large HO scale layout I like to tell visitors that the passenger trains shown are representative of what you would have seen running thru Conneaut in the 1950's. The cab windows of 755 were replaced this summer and due to our contractor's schedule the mullions were not added to those windows until a couple of weeks ago. The repainting of our museum building is almost complete. This past Monday, Labor Day, was our last day of the 2023 season. Thanks again for showcasing us and please try and stop by next season.

    Gorgeous engine and cool tour, thanks, Chris! It's cool that they have the caboose open for a walk-thru.

      No problem, I want to show these places so people can support them and know what there is to see. They are run by donations and I hope to help make sure they are bringing in the money to take care for the station and the locomotive! Thanks for watching!

    p.s. are you using homasote on your layout ? What is the size of your layout and track curves ?

    • @ChrissTrainsandMore
      @ChrissTrainsandMore  Год назад

      No I’m not using homasote on my layout. The foam is cheaper and I feel does just as good. Any of my upper levels I will use CDX plywood but the main level is OSB plywood. I don’t see a reason to spend more to just cover it up with track buildings and scenery. (My new barn floor is 3/4 OSB) As for my curves the smallest is 54 then 72 and outer is 96
      We are now at 9 foot wide and 32 feet long with one more 8 foot to go. (For my turntable and roundhouse.
