- Like other Métro stations, Mirabeau was built using the cut-and-cover method; as a result, it lies directly underneath rue Mirabeau, which gives the station its name (which in turn is named after Honoré Gabriel Riqueti, comte de Mirabeau, a statesman during the French Revolution). There is only one platform serving eastbound trains; the westbound track rises along a relatively steep ramp in order to stay near the surface, turning to the west of the station in a northerly direction so as to run underneath rue Wilhem on way to Église d'Auteuil station.

Сиденья, как в электричке. Меньше вместимость, и плохо входить - выходить .Станции в городе у них рядом. Достаточно посмотреть в яндекс картах. Они в центре очень близко друг к другу.

The NYC Subway has something like that too, I believe at Rockefeller Center station. There is a two level complex there. I’ve also been to the Paris Metro a couple times. It was interesting

There are quite a few double deck stations on the NYC subway. There is an over-under crossover on the 6th Ave. line southbound between Rockefeller Center and 42 St. The West 4 St. station has two 4 track, 2 platform stations; 8th Ave. on the upper level and 6th Ave. on the lower. Most interesting is the Wilson Ave. station in Brooklyn on the L train. The Manhattan bound platform is underground but the Canarsie bound is outdoors. There are also double deck elevated stations at Queens Plaza and West 8 St. in Coney Island.

@Arif Akyuz You are correct. Most of the Lexington Ave. line north of Grand Central is double deck because the Avenue isn't wide enough for four tracks. The local tracks are on the upper level and the express on the lower.
There's a fence on the upper track so that the train doesn't accidentally trip and fall off.

In Los Angeles we have a similar setup with the Wilshire and Vermont station on the Metro Red and Purple Lines. What makes this station even more unique is the fact that it is at this station were the Red splits off from the Purple line so the tunnels branch off. The platforms are literally on top of each other and is one of the deepest stations in the LA Metro system.
I've been there, it's pretty neat, but it's not like this. Wilsher Vermont has two separate levels, and one platform on each floor and one track each. If I get to see two trains going above and under each other, cool, but now it's just like an average train station with one track

A particularity of Paris Metro Line 10, this line has a west end terminus in Boulogne Pont de Saint Cloud, however it has a loop between Porte d'Auteuil and Michel Ange Molitor. The station where this video was filmed is the point where those branches divide, but is only served by eastbound trains towards central Paris.

Canning Town tube station has two levels - one for the DLR and one for the Jubilee line. The DLR runs above the tube. Whitechapel station is a funny one where the London Overground trains run under the Underground trains (but it used to be part of the East London Line when that was on LU)

Была проблема с грунтами при строительстве. Пришлось отказаться от противоположной платформы и уйти вверх.
плюс часто надо было вписывать тоннели с поатформами между подвалами, и из за этого порой платформы не получалось делать напротив, но тут особый случай конечно

The BART subway stations in Oakland, California on Broadway are almost this weird. The upper level platform has trains that run parallel, but then if you go downstairs there's a single platform where the trains run in the opposite direction. Really confusing until you get used to it.

A linha Centro se separa em dois ramais na estação Coqueiral. Logo após passarem por lá, os trilhos se dividem, e, alternadamente, os trens seguem para Camaragibe e para Jaboatão. Neste caso, ambos param na mesma plataforma.
Já no sentido Recife, por uma questão de diferença no terreno, os que estão no ramal Camaragibe param na plataforma oposta, como em qualquer outra estação, mas os que estão no ramal Jaboatão param numa terceira plataforma, paralelamente e acima do resto da estação. O desembarque é pelo lado esquerdo, e é engraçado pq quando olhamos para a direita, não tem nada, a gente vê as casas, as ruas, e dá a impressão que o trem parou no meio do caminho, no meio do nada.
Só mais adiante que as duas vias se unem, quando estão na mesma altura.

That’s the oldest trains you see here, the new ones don’t have handles but the seating is not optimal, they have a 2-1 seating instead of 4-4 longitudinal seating like most metros in the world

И то, и другое. Это станция (платформа) в одном направлении, но там, в верхней части сразу за поворотом расположена противоположная платформа, которая рассматривается как другая станция, Eglise d'Auteuil. Это сделано правильно, так как эти две платформы (станции) имеют разные, не связанные выходы, с удаленностью друг от друга в 250 метров.
Странное решение. Это получается высадка и посадка только в одну сторону?
Как будто впихнули платформу в перегонный тоннель.
Юрий Хромченко такие односторонние станции переодически встречаются в зарубежных метрополитенах, не только в Париже. А вот чтоб прям на станции пути шли с разным уклоном - я других таких примеров не знаю

@@semaforfilm1520 Очень специфический профиль станции, которая обращена к крутому склону пути в направлении Булони, обусловлен большой глубиной линии, следующей за ее пересечением Сены, и тем фактом, что для достижения станции Eglise d'Auteuil, примыкающая к церкви Отей, путь должен обойти фундамент церкви.

Well it depends you see of the train. In the cab, the driver have a button to unlock the system that keeps the doors locked. Then the passengers can open the door by pushing the button or the small lever (on the door). This is on the old trains but on the recent ones, the driver still have a button to unlock the doors BUT all the doors are opening automatically so the passengers don’t have to open them.
In Madrid Metro all the trains have a lever or a button to open the doors by the passengers. This is because of air conditioning efficiency. If doors remain closed because they are unused, the train remains cool. In some occasions though, the driver has a button to open all the doors automatically.
You are right ! I missed my first metro when I was in Paris because the door didn’t open and I wasn’t aware of that
Happens to some trains in the UK too. But it is fairly obvious when you open the doors yourself and when it does not

It was built like that at the beginning of the 20th century, it was planned that way. On this part of Line 10 there are several 1 track stations, some of them have 2 tracks but trains go 1 way, westbound most of the times

Parce qu’à l’origine dans ce coin du 16ème ceux qui ont construit la ligne estimaient que la desserte jusqu’à la Pte d’Auteuil devait se faire par une boucle, d’ailleurs la station Église d’Auteuil est environ à 500m après la rampe, mais c’est vrai que moi-même la première fois que j’y suis passé avec mon père la station m’a intrigué, ça m’a marqué

Приезжай в Питер, у нас спортивная является двух-этажной станцией, где соединяются две линии. Один чёрт, она полностью не задействована

в Париже много таких необычных станций. Возьмем например станции Liege и Commerce они в париже. На этих двух станциях такой тип движения поездов: один поезд останавливается на платформе а встречный не имеет платформы и прозжает станцию. Отсними эти две станции, буду рад если мою идею реализуют. Также в Париже много заброшенных станций таких как Croix Rouge, Arsenal, Porte des Lilas ну та платформа где кино снимают. И еще Haxo, Porte Molitor, Old station Victor Hugo, old station Porte Maillot, Champ de Mars, old station Invalides и многие другие станции. Есть такие станции в Париже, имеющие кросс-платформенную пересадку. Пример - станции Луи Блан (линии 7 и 7bis) и Гар де Лест (линии 5 и 7)

This is a standart sign of the Paris metro for the track workers: watch out the direction of the approaching train.
Maybe it is because Paris could use double deckers soon.
