I’m working on a project RCA VHS 1985 video camera. I am actually going to do tapeless I really like doing this. It was a camera that we had when I was a kid. I was very lucky to find one brings back the childhood memories in the 90s, but yeah, I’m excited to see what I get. I’m going to use this for car shows and fun stuff but yeah. And hopefully if I start working with horses again, I will film the horses with it so it looks like the 1980s again so cool.
So does it pick up the microphone on the camera your have plugged in I also have a external microphone does it only use a built in microphone 😢

Do you also not have the glitching when you open the original file in VLC Media player? But as soon as it is converted the glitches come in the file. I have tried like 10 different mp4 converters but all the same.
I have similar issues. I just copped a somy TRV85, everything’s fine in the media player when I’m viewing it but when I convert it to MP4 I get the glitching. Haven’t found any solution

Hey bro, I was wondering if you were able to remedy the glitching like how you displayed at 1:50 (since I tend to run into that issue quite a bit). I am not sure if it is because my output cable from the camera to the recording device is not secure enough? Or a corrupted memory card? Or my recording unit is just a faulty one? Thanks! I appreciate the transparency in this vid.
Hey boss i would honestly be banking on the cables being old and not the gold ones. However, i wouldn't be surprised if it was the recording unit as well. Try a better cable and after that I would honestly just try to keep the camcorder in a static shot and if you do shoot dynamic it will most likely have that effect.

with the footage i get from the cam digtinow, it has all the symbols, how do you get rid of them?
So the way you do that is by playing with your Camcorder's display settings. It usually is in the menu and it says display on or off. Or timestamp. It can't be edited on the digitnow device it has to be off the camcorder
