It's like a movie. A girl joins a group who she thinks are her friends. Then Camila (The chosen one) is the best and when a famous judge says they should learn after her they backstab her. But now Camila (alone) Ironically is doing better than the whole group.
I love camila so much but her voice was so different to the other girls’ voices that everytime she sang she automatically stood out, she is a soloist.
She did whatever she felt like when singing. She could've blended in, regardless of her voice, and get their music onto the next level with harmonies. Instead she ruined them because she wanted to stand out. Demi was wrong for encouraging that behavior as if the rest of the girls should learn from her, because that's not how a band/group is supposed to work.

I think what makes Camila “shine” is how she seems so at home on stage. She really gets into it and she has so much energy.
Part of what made her shine when she was in 5h (in my opinion) was the fact that all the other girls had amazing voices but they were so similar. Camila’s stood out bc it is so unique. They are all amazing, but Camila’s voice stood out there and that made her “shine”.
And also this title makes Demi out to be some bully. She specified how she thought that they all had potential, and wasn’t trying to bring them down in any way. She only wanted to see them improve. And she was even good about it. She didn’t want to tell them who she thought shined most. She wanted them to find out for themselves.

Unless a girl group is designed to have one lead - like Destiny's Child, which was organized by Beyonce's parents to feature her as lead (with Kelly Rowland as an occasional second lead) it's best for a group's singers to pretend that they're all just a happy group of friends without individual ambitions.

Even though I wouldn't say Camilla had the best voice in THIS performance, she definitely had the most confidence and the most stage presence. The rest of the girls didn't seem as natural.
Mind you, I've never watched this show or heard much of their music until Camilla left the group. In watching all their performances from this show, the only time I thought they looked like a true group was when they sang "Anything Can Happen"...solid.
