This problem started when I changed my phone charger ... Looks like new charge would charge the phone faster than old one but may not compatible to work with my mobile. So I went back to similar older model and issue was fixed, do give it a try!!

What worked for me was going to system>performance>reset options. And reset all app settings and device settings back to default. Problem solved... For now... P.s. do not factory reset that would erase your data.

You could try booting in safe mode to determine if it's an app causing the issue or hardware.

I never had any issues with this until I got a cracked screen repaired. After that, it worsened as time passed. Now it sends texts, clicks on things on social media, and makes it impossible to use the phone unless I press hard on my phone screen as a temporary fix. Thanks, Google.

hi! I still don't know how to fix but turn on touch on developer mode so you know when its ghost touching, simply turn off your device (not actually power off) and turn it on again, put your pass or whatever, then it gone!

Guys ghost touch is becuz when you plug a charger with a low quality it makes variation to your phone and it cause ghost touch!

pls reduce brightness, don't take it out to hot places, reduce number of apps, close unwanted apps running in background....
Nothing works then...Factory reset phone (u lose photo video and files so back up whatever needed)...limit installing more apps...just use phone for calls and browsing....best of luck...👍

Under powered hardware for your usage pattern.
We only have temporary work around (you may need to repeat as and when it happens):
1. Reduce usage -Free up space, uninstall unwanted apps, limit number of simultaneous apps.
2.Reduce brightness of your screen, disable automatic brightness.
3. Reduce heat or sun light exposure
4. Factory data reset
