Shall we discuss Ellen objectifying Men pretty much for the first five years of a show? By this, I mean, specifically constantly having men her guest take off their shirts sit there in their underwear/ swimming trunks isn’t that a double standard?😢
My personal experience with Steven Seagal. I was running the press room (where various media can interview the invided celebs) at a celebrity luncheon in the 1990s. He walked in with his manager. I said, "thank you for coming Mr. Seagal." He said, "This better go right or I'm going to knock you silly." I said, "Whaaaat." as I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Fortunately, his manager grabbed him and took him aside for a "little talk." What I realized was that he was frightened of doing interviews. Unfortunately, when "Mr." Seagal is frightened, he gets totally obnoxious. This was probably the case on SNL.
Frank Santopadre cohosted a podcast with Gilbert. Santopadre frequently teased Gilbert that he had a horrendous memory on their podcast (Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast with Frank Santopadre.) It took multiple meetings with Santopadre before Gilbert even would recognize him. I just watched the above YT video and Stern was offended that Gilbert didn't seem to not know who he was. That could make perfect sense. Santopadre joked about a famous director talking to Gilbert and got a blank look from him (Gilbert had no idea who this man was ). The famous director said who he was and Gilbert immediately became embarrassed. Another incident or possibly the very same incident had an actor/director/etc say to Frank that Gilbert didn't recognize him and Frank says that happens with Gilbert alot. The famous man then said to Frank "are you sure that Gilbert knows that you are Santopadre?" Gilbert laughed at the retelling of the anecdote. I'm just spitballling but I'm guessing that Gilbert had prosopagnosia (face blindness) or some condition that severely messed with Gilbert's ability to recognize people.
Volume 32, Issue 9, P743-748, September 2022 Cognitive assessment in patients with myotonic dystrophy type 2 The most affected cognitive domains in DM2 were visuospatial, executive and naming. Classic screening tests were not sensitive enough to detect cognitive impairment in DM2 so we proposed a set of neuropsychological tests to be used in DM2. Although DM2 is defined as a muscle disease, altered cognition is an important and so far, under -recognized disease feature, that is important in the management of these patients.
Prosopagnosia Prosopagnosia is a neurological disorder characterized by the inability to recognize faces. Prosopagnosia is also known as face blindness or facial agnosia. Prosopagnosia comes from the Greek words for "face" and "lack of knowledge." Depending upon the degree of impairment, some people with prosopagnosia may only have difficulty recognizing a familiar face; others will be unable to discriminate between unknown faces, while others may not even be able to distinguish a face as different from an object. Some people with the disorder are unable to recognize their faces. Prosopagnosia is not related to memory dysfunction, memory loss, impaired vision, or learning disabilities. Prosopagnosia is thought to be the result of abnormalities, damage, or impairment in the right fusiform gyrus, a fold in the brain that appears to coordinate the neural systems that control facial perception and memory.

these are weak examples - some of these people may have been banned from a particular show, but none have been banned from TV. And it's Piers Morgan (PEERS) not Pierce!
To be banned by Ellen is a good thing. I hear she is mean to people (some of her guests included) without cause. She went the way of so many popular comedians of her era: They gain acclaim in their careers because they are truly funny and poke fun universally. Then they seem to morph into jerks who are plain mean.
I absolutely love this channel and watch as much as I can of Recollection. What I see here on this video is just loads and loads of ego and immaturity within these individuals whether they be celebrities or the head honchos of the mentioned programs.
You know what's hurting kids? Distorting their sense of reality and gender and making them believe that if they dive into their own preverted and fraudulent fantasy and become living showfreaks they'll find love and happiness. Kids need sane and loving parents, not crazy but accepting parents. Because you can't accept what reality rejects
Wasn't Crispin Glover banned from David Letterman's talk show when he was promoting the movie the River's Edge (1987) and showed up in a wig and wearing platform shoes?
Its absolutely ridiculous that ellen has the power to cancel someone nc she herself should be cancelled bc everything that u hesr about in real life shows just how much of w horrible person she truly is from the way that she treats her employees and even some of the guest that have appeared on her show ice definitely heard way more horrible rhings about her and her actuons rhan any thing that ive ever seen her do in a positive way
Banning an actor for playing a part where they are speaking from a script is stupid. SMH
Yet, we destroy peoples' careers and lives for next to nothing now, like a tweet from when they were tweens.

Yep. It’s a badge of honor.
Banned from Ellen? I hardly see how this is a bad thing.
Ellen.?🤢🤮
When I was a kid I watched SNL that time Martin Lawrence hosted. The monologue was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen.

This gives Vince Vaughn worthiness.
It's because he hadn't uhh... "filled out" yet.
Ellen is an idiot.
Vince cant act he’s a loser like trump.
Annnd didn’t Ellen get cancelled cancelled by entertaining a toxic environment?..but, okay🙄
I had to Google reverse image search that first Vince Vaughn pic, looks more like a young Michael Madsen.
I thought it was Madsen too
SNL hasn't been iconic for about 30 years.
Thank you. Glad to know I'm not alone in thinking the same.

How come nobody ever banned Ellen?!
Yeah, ban a gay woman and see how that works.
Honestly, she was just horrible. Can't stand the woman.
I did. Her show was never allowed on my screen.
I believe she was so poplar because of the money and gifts that was given away god know she is not funny

I would think that being banned from Saturday Night Live would be a favor these days. SNL hasn’t been funny in over 30 years.
Who watches Ellen or SNL?
Well...Ellen Is over. I've been watching SNL since 1975.😅
Andy was gross.😖
Ellen was always horrendous. SNL is absolute garbage now.
Ellen's show ended in 2022 .. which may be one reason
Hader, Wiig, Strong, Bayer, Moynihan, and many others made SNL watchable again. SNL is a show I look forward to seeing.
