I learnt to neglect myself as a child and that I wasn't worth spending any money on. As an adult I had to undo all that programming. I learned how to do make-up from youtube, became quite professional, experimented with looks and the feedback was stellar! Men got really excited and one person said I looked 10 years younger. But the biggest point is simply to love myself, to look at myself as worthy, to treat myself with excellent care instead of neglecting myself.
I love the way you did your makeup in this video. I'm 20 going on 21 and just now beginning to dabble into makeup (even though I grew up watching makeup tutorials obsessively like you lol) and seeing you just use a few products and blend it all with your fingers makes the process seem very approachable and non-intimidating so thanks
love this i love being a young teenage girl and these videos help me not worry about what women hood brings me but instead worry about what girl hood brings me and what girl i want to be not what women i want to be
I learned to do my make up relatively late, I was maybe 17-18. There was no one in my life to show me and I was clueless, I remember watching typical tutorials and feeling that they assume I already have some basic knowledge which I didn't lol. Finally I stumbled upon make up tutorials for trans girls (I specifically remember watching Stef Sanjati) and they explained *everything* from the ground up with the full knowledge that you do not know *anything*. Now I am cis but I found that impossibly helpful. It got me into watching trans creators too and so later when my very close friend came out as trans I had some knowledge and I could support her better. So that's my make up origin lol
I started doing my makeup when I was 14/15 and I was suuuuper emo - I’m talkin’ big winged eyeliner, black lipstick, fake septum ring & everything, and I think this video found me at such a good time! I was always really into rock bands and one comment I left under a popular band’s music video has started to “haunt” me again recently because people who are watching the MV now are seeing it and leaving comments about how cringy my comment was. Part of me was initially thinking of deleting the comment because of how embarrassed I felt, but your videos have made me realize that that’s just how important that MV and song was to little me 8 years ago, and to this day I am still so so passionate about music. Little me 8 years ago would think I’m so cool with my now-perfected eyeliner and real piercings/tattoos, and the thought little me would LOVE me now has helped me love, appreciate, and care for myself more. Thank you so much for your videos, they are so thought provoking and inspiring
Thank you for this video 💖 I'd love it if you could dive deeper into the healing of our inner child, especially talking about the lack of support you had as a child and how to start re-parenting yourself in your young-adult years to overcome this feeling of never being enough or lacking that extra confidence
I really loved what you said about your inner child and everything in this video in general (I resonated a lot with the one direction phase haha maybe because we’re from the same generation). I would love another video of you talking about this in a deeper way (I feel like I have a lot of things in common with you and the way you think, it’s very comforting and inspiring listening to your realizations), thank you very much for taking the time to make videos and giving us such beautiful perspectives of life !! you’re very pretty on the outside but what you show us of your inside is even prettier 🤍 (sorry if my english isn’t perfect, spanish is my native language)
i check ur channel daily and watch ur videos and know that while I’m waiting ur creating something so beautiful with love put into it. comfort RUclipsr
Use the Féria concealer! It’s the BEST I’ve ever used. I used the Maybelline one too until I tried Féria. It’s AMAZING, and nice and dewy. You can also use it as a foundation and it will cover up every flaw without being too heavy. A little bit goes a long way!
im non binary and dont really do makeup, but im afab so i went through some of the impressions of "makeup culture" as a tween. my mom tried to support me, bought some makeup i never used more than once or twice, gave me some brushes, but ultimately i never kept up with it. grew up to realize that just because everyone else does it doesnt mean i need to 🤷

I'm sorry but when you were describing how young and wild you were, I FULLY expected you to end with "Just a girl from the Bronx" cause it sounded so much like JLo😭
While you're surrounding yourself with "light feminine" aesthetics, I feel like you're screaming dark feminine! I'm not a huge believer in this stuff but i can feel the clash! You're so magnetic ✨
i aspire to speak as eloquently as you do. the way you are able to express yourself is so beautiful and elegant.

i would love to see a video on your inner child and how to heal it, or at least make them happy!!
