For me the software doesnt work, it says device not supported
@@sjefkerollenspelspeler I’ve also ran into this same problem before and the only solution that’s really helped is:
1. Unplug it
2: turn off your computer
3. Plug it back in
4. Turn your computer back on
And if that doesn’t work I usually just keep powering up and powering off my pc until it works. It’s strange but I don’t know why and I don’t necessarily have a 100% solution fix but if I ever find one I’ll be sure to make a vid on it

@@ludz0833 tbh its just personal preference. They don't necessarily do much except for aesthetic purposes. I did enjoy them for the time i used them and they were for sure higher quality but like i said its personal preference.

@@Fubb2018 after using them for a few weeks now I can kinda agree with that statement. O rings do little to no sound reduction like they state. Best thing to do is to lube your switches and stabilizers 👍🏼

i just ordered the gk61 keyboard and I already have the pudding keycaps but my spacebar both shift keys backspace and enter key are not compatible with clips how is yours compatible? can anyone else help me out?
That’s very strange and I’ve never seen that before! Normally those keycaps have many different slots available for different sizes . Is it possible you got an off brand pudding keycap set?
Which hyperx pudding keycaps would be brighter the black or white
I'm sure the whites would appear to be brighter because of the way white works with colors but in the end the actual brightness is probably the same

hi nice video and i have order the gk61 yellow switches and the hyperx keycaps its should be ok right? and btw does switch key caps will add delay? i ask it because im comp player and tryhard XD so i want the best of the best and i have now razer ornata chroma it is not even mechanic keyboard do you think i will notice some diffrence in delay? sorry if that was too long hope you will answer :)
Optical switches are some of the fastest switches you can have so there will definitely be a different in lowering the delay and as for the keycaps those are just a cosmetic change. It does not affect the delay. Hope for the best for your comp play👍🏼

Is removing long keys like the spacebar and backspace key the same process as the rest of the keys?
Yeah pretty much the same process. I usually just get all other keys off first and then it makes it easier to remove those bigger keys.
I bought some custom metal keycaps that are supposed to fit cherry MX switch styles. I bought a Epomaker SK64 with Gateron Red Opti's and a set of 16 replacement switches from Epomaker that are also Gateron Red Opti's. The custom metal keycaps fit my crappy logitech keyboard that uses cherry MX clone switches. (Brown Mech), although I cant seem to get the custom keycaps to go on the Gat Red Optis. It seems that the crosspins that the keycaps sit in depress so easily that I have no tension to slide the cap on with, and the entire pin rides below the surface of the switch before bottoming out. Therefore, I cant get the cap on the switches. Any idea how I can install them?
This is kinda a sucky answer but maybe try taking the switches off the keyboard where you just have the switches themselves in your hand and put the keycaps on that way and then put each key back in its respective place once you’ve placed the keycap on the switch

I’m not sure. I had ordered this nearly a year ago and everyone I’ve talked to recently says that theirs comes with the Hyperx spacebar and then ive had some claim that they are possibly a knockoff or a scam because mine did not have the spacebar.
I do know I have seen on Amazon a pair that was not a name brand and it was with the plain space bar.
How did you get the left shift in? I just bought the same and the left shift button is way to big
Try switching the shifts put the one you have on the right on the left

If it’s too much I’d see about disassembling the keyboard and trying to straighten the stabilizers to where they lay flat on the surface of a desk/table
There’s many tutorials on how to adjust stabilizers. Unfortunately I do not have one of those videos on my channel but they are out there👍🏼

hey bro I have the same keyboard and switches does it sound quieter with the keycaps or it’s the same?
It’s about the same but if you want more quiet switches you can always lube them and put “O-rings” on all the switches. It’s basically a tiny rubber band that raps around the tip of the switch so it softens the noise on impact of the clicks on the keyboard 👍🏽

They definitely feel higher quality to me but that’s about the only thing different I feel

I don’t think so sadly. I think all the newer packages come with the hyperx bar but I could be wrong. I got my set almost two years ago at this point and it came with just the normal space bar

Yes that will be fine. That’s how my gk61 keyboard is as well. The right shift is nearly a half inch longer than the left 👍🏼

why my pudding keycaps got the hyperx logo in the space bar and yours don't?
i have no idea, people have told me i may have got sent a fake set possibly or i got an early edition considering that was nearly two years ago when i first got these.

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking friend. Are you asking if the gk61 is for 60$? Or if this is a 60% keyboard? In this instance, both answers are yes.
Currently on Amazon I believe the keyboard is selling for $59.99 and this is a 60% keyboard form factor. Hope this answers your question👍🏼

Only issue I have ever had is while gaming for some reason certain games its like when I check my inventory and then try to press “w” immediately after leaving to go forward its like it doesn’t register and I have to let off “w” and then press again. Other than that it’s been good and I use it almost daily

Are the keycaps compatible with Gk64?
It would mostly fit but I believe you would run into some problems with the right sides “alt” and “ctrl” because they are square keys instead of the slightly wider offset keys that normally go on that side.
Now I’m not sure if there are alternative keycaps included in the set because it’s been so long since I had this set but I could probably find out

Don't you get confused when you need to use special characters?
Only when it comes to like the fn keys or the other computer control buttons like the volume and things like that. If I can’t remember what is what I usually would just look it up the gk61 and zoom in on the button I was confused about, but now I have it mostly down

To be completely honest with you I have no idea. I’ve had many people ask me this question because when they ordered theres they got the hyperX space bar with theirs. I don’t know if maybe I snagged an earlier edition before they made that swap or if somewhere there is an option for it.

And for the keycaps both look really clean because of the almost clear edge around the caps. Personally I would have gotten the white keycaps and then had the black border of my keyboard, which I think would have been pretty cool. Usually though anything white with rgb normally looks more smooth than the black just the way the colors kinda flow if that makes any sense😅

Mostly yes. Very rarely will there be a set that does not fit unless it is stated that it is specifically designed for a certain type of switch

I believe there were two different versions. I believe the second edition to come out has the hyperX logo on the spacebar, but when I got these it was just the normal space bar. I bought these directly from Amazon but maybe I’m wrong 😳 maybe Amazon sold me a bootleg🤭 hopefully not though. But even if they aren’t them, they sure are hyperX quality 👍🏼
tbh these keycaps are overhyped. there are way better options than this for the same price if not cheaper like for example, the coral sea keycaps, those are way better than these and cost exactly the same. they have a good and clean design, they are made of a even better pbt material, and sound better and go down smoother because of the type of pbt they use. overall these keycaps are for the 10 year old's who are obsessed with RGB.
Agreed. There are better options and different styles and materials but In the end it’s just personal preference and what you enjoy aesthetically on your setup. Cool thing about PC is the customization in various areas and ways to make it unique 👍🏼
