- As I get deeper in to my hot rod project I'm always finding myself needing new tools.
Today I'm reviewing my brand new Vevor Spot Welder Model DN-100E! The DN-100E is a 110-120V 60Hz portable spot welder with a 50% duty cycle and capable of spot welding up to 1/8" steel!
And let me tell you, it works a treat! But check out the full video for details and subscribe to see me use it even more on my projects! For the price, the Vevor spot welder is a great value and is going to save me a lot of time!
Links to the DN-100E are below but be sure to shop around as the prices are always changing... I got mine for $128!

Yeah AJ that's an awesome tool to have in your arsenal. 👍
It sure is, I love it!
Killer! So many things now a days don’t live up to expectations. Nice to see the spot welder break that trend. Now I want one as well. Do you know if they offer different depth contacts to increase capability?
Yeah, I’m really happy with it so far and I’ve done a ton more welds with it! I don’t see any options for different tongs but there’s tons of different sizes and shapes of them on Amazon and eBay.
Nice "real world" review. Been wanting one of these just havent pulled the trigger yet.
Thanks man, I’ve since done a LOT more welding with it and I’m still in love with it! It’ll be shown in an upcoming video on my hot rod. thanks for watching!
Oh yeah, I also have since used it to spot weld three layers of 18ga steel together which is over 1/8” thick total!
@@AJStarch I think I have just the project lined up that this would work with!
Hey, can you weld stainless steel with this
Cheers..
The manual says carbon steel and aluminum but I did weld some thin scraps of magnetic stainless steel with it. I didn’t have anything thicker pieces or non-magnetic stainless to try it on though. Thanks for watching!
I bet it was delivered by ups
Haha could be… I didn’t see who actually delivered it though. Thanks for watching!
you dont know how to ajust the handel well i have not got my one all together yet put handel down lossen alan bolts on the 2 rods going out front slid them out further until tips come together then do up alan screws up
It’s all adjusted up now, thanks for watching!
