18:43 I like the way these two locos greet each other with a whistle

That really was a splendid weekend. Can you imagine Network Rail and / or Greater Anglia organising an event like that now? As I remember, you covered the northern part of the line and I did the southern part. But where we drew the dividing line I can't remember. It's possible that I might, just might, still have my original tapes. If I have, and I can find them and they are still playable, I'll be able to find out.

Yes that's right Ron, my shots are around Ely and just a few miles south and yours were around the Stansted area.

My haven't camcorders changed a bit... so many on shoulder cameras in this video - not on classic railtour video, but retro video gear as well - love it

Yes being able to just take your phone out of your pocket and video something is so taken for granted by young people of today.

@@Robert_Manners I can remember watching someone video a parade in my old town. They had this big box on his hip with a shoulder strap, connected to a large camera by a long curly wire... From that day on I wanted to get into making films or video... but it was 15 years later before I got my first sony camcorder costing well over £1000 !

@@MalcolmCrabbe I used to hire one for a couple of weeks once a year until I could afford one of my own. That was a Sony and cost something like £900. I've still got it, packet in a box somewhere in the loft.
