I needed a saw to cut stone tiles for a backsplash. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfiuHoZJo3bgdVPFRxQ-iqPpfbEHl2cYt I thought for sure I was going to need to buy a "better" blade than the one that came with this machine. I was surprised to see that blade worked great. Buying this saw was cheaper than renting and allowed me to take my time on the project. I wrapped the tiles (front and back) with blue painters tape and drew my cut lines with a sharpie on the tape. I performed all of my cuts free hand and had no trouble cutting the tile straight. There is a guide you can use to help with cuts if you prefer. This was my first tile job and this saw made it easy.
It is SO delightful to see how very comfortable you are becoming with this Video thing! This was one of the most entertaining INTROS I've seen, EVER!! Very much fun! Thanks!
Omg, you had me lol 😂. I absolutely cracked up watching the crazy intro. Goofballs make the world a happier place. I have personal experience with that because I married a big goofball, and he makes me roll my eyes and laugh every day 😍. It’s so fun to see what’s inside the rocks. What beauties. Speaking of beauty, so very happy for you and your beautiful wife 🧸 💝. That is exciting news!
Ok. I’m gonna plan a road trip for rockhounding at Lake Superior. As soon as I can. The agates are lovely. Even that worn piece has a subtle beauty and is worth polishing the face. You could tumble it. The exposed agates are amazing.
Agate Dad just need to plan out the trip and camping. It’s about a 15 hour drive so will need at least one or two stopping points. Planning it out soon.
7:12 Slices would make a stunning necklace. I wire wrap jewelry, and I'm inspired to pick my own rocks vs. buying. I just walked my dog and found a beautiful agate. I’m pricing lapidary supplies while I watch this video.
Congrats on the new baby and thank you for doing this video. I have been lamenting over not being able to afford my own lap machine or have the space/money for a rock saw right now. However, a few months ago we were given a tile saw that a friend didn't need and it's just been sitting in my garage. I'm beyond thrilled to learn that I can put the tile saw to use for my work. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing what you have learned!
My absolute favorite was cut number four , also I have to say without a doubt that your videos and channel have just gotten better with each new one you upload and it wouldn't surprise me if you hit 100,000 subscribers before Christmas this year Taylor . But most importantly- Congratulations on you and your wonderful wife's new addition 👶 and Noah's new little brother, As a parent of seven (all boys)I can tell you that parenting is the most rewarding experience. Best wishes and best regards from Lloyd.
I must say that it an extremely nice compliment, I dont know about thay though! Lol it would be crazy though 😜 thanks Lloyd! Being a father is hands down, the greatest thing in the world, love them all soo much!!
I've always found the Quarzite is sometimes my favorite. I'm no Rockhound (yet), but since I was a kid, I've always filled my pockets with rocks when I'm outside, and I've always loved the simple beauty of the types of rocks that are "common." The fact that God has surrounded us with little pockets of His glory in simple rocks is just astounding to me. I hope one day to find bigger agates like that and cut them open! It be so cool. I live in Colorado, which I guess is a pretty good place for Rockhounding.
I went back and watched this one again this morning to pick up tips before getting into my own first cut! I like how you cut the piece backwards on the saw so it sprays away from you and not blasting you like I've done cutting tile. Took my spray guard off so I could fit the rock, definitely safety first with the mask, glasses and ear plugs. Took me 30 mins to slab up this green jasper rock I found. So excited to try and polish it now... thanks for this video Taylor!
Congratulations on another beautiful baby.......so excited for you. I love all the rocks you cut. I really do love the quartz crystal one....... thank you so much for sharing.
The dance of Agate Dad! LOL. Such dad humor. Love it. Now to watch the saw work. Btw can you get a P100 mask? If not, you want one? And congratulations!
Agate Dad I have an extra P100 if you don’t mind that it is used. I also suggest goggles. I just got some dewalt goggles as I couldn’t find mine. Have waited to do anymore cutting until now. I don’t want my handle to be one eyed agate hunter. Or agate pirate (ok. That second wouldnt be too bad of a name). I may cut some rocks in a day or two. First time went ok but super messy and mostly quartz.
I love watching you cut the agates. It's like opening presents at Christmas. Sometimes you get cool stuff....sometimes you get underwear😖. It's so cool your having another boy. They will be perfect playmates at some point. Of course you'll have my prayers and positive energy sent daily.
Hahahaha I remember that as a kid! Oh sweeeeet new present.....undies 🥺 I'm so happy we get to have another boy, i would be happy either way but happy for Noah!
Hats off to you and your Wife my friend ,running a fam and putting out A +++ Videos . I really appreciate you, I am new to this and your video's are giving me so much inspiration again I thank you so much

A BABY!!!!!!! Congratulations from Logan & me! Great reveals today! We gasped at the hidden water level agate! You should cut the last one in a few slabs. It was very pretty. Maybe another cut will reveal more of the bands? It’s seriously like Christmas waiting to see the insides.

Very much appreciated~ 👍 Safety First!!! 9:24 "mossy beautiful goodness!" nuff said~ 😁 Always love when I'm happily surprised playing the "what's inside it?" game and could see your excitement as well! The incredible banded nodule at 13:07 is really very nice with the depth of field to see deeper banding kinda ghosted in the middle..oh yeah~👀 What a great way to spend an afternoon and getting to share in the exposition of the hearts of those little magical beauties is much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to make/take/edit and post fresh content! Hope you have a great rest of your week~
