Facials are definitely important. Maybe not too often but if you can especially for acne etc. It definitely helps. I get medical grade acne ones and it’s painful a bit though worth it. They can stop worse skin issues as well. Key word medical grade.

I am an esthetic educator as well and I disagree with your cons on facials. It is now a necessity special on states where we experience severe weather changes.
What I have observed in the Philippines is that there’s a lot of supposedly skin care professionals who don’t even know what they are doing . Apart from that a medical background is not an assurance for real knowledge on skin care.

Hello! Thank you for that nice comment.
Facials are good at thoroughly cleaning the skin, possibly making your pores appear smaller and smothening your skin temporarily, however they are not enough to permanently address skin issues.

    • @irenegaile

@@afrindristy4315 You can start with the basic skin essentials -- (1) using a gentle cleanser, (2) exfoliating with either a mild scrub or a low concentration acid exfoliant in toner form , (3) applying moisturizers with ingredients for oily skin (pls check out my video on that) and (4) using sun protection.

Pa-consult ka na, kc may gamot naman ang pimples. Better address them early kc mas mahirap gamutin ang scars.

Hi Dr.. I've been depressed how uneven my skin is.. especially with my face and neck.. I've been getting a lot of products and my skin may have lighten but the face and neck are not the same.. I feel some people are disgusted seeing me as well.. I'm thinking of going to the salon to have facial and neck whitening.. or take IV gluta drips..Can you advise the best options for me? Thank you much.

      How to get to heaven:
1- Believe that Jesus is God (John 1:1), (John 1:14) who died on the cross for our sins (2 Cor 5:18), (2 Cor 5:21) and rose again (Acts 3:15), (John 3:18)
2- Know that you are a sinner in need of a saviour and can’t get to heaven by doing good (Eph 2:8), (Rom 3:23)
3-Truly love God and truly love your neighbour (1 John 3:18-23)
      God bless ❤️

For acne surgery (facials that are optionally performed as an adjunct treatment for acne patients) can be done as long as the patient can tolerate the procedure - because it can be uncomfortable. Acne surgery though is not a treatment for acne- acne medications parin ang first line of treatment with facials being an optional added procedure for some. Make sure also na ung gagawa ng acne surgery is well-trained and experienced :)

Glaiza Sison it can happen sometimes because of inflammation from the extraction itself, however if properly done using the right tools and technique dapt hindi.
